Earlier this year, an architectural wonder belonging to hip hop superstar, Pharrell Williams came up on the LA real estate market, and it’s not the only super unique property the man owns. The 13 time Grammy winner keeps multiple residences in his hometown of Virginia Beach, a newly purchased $30 million compound in Florida, and an all-glass mansion in Beverly Hills which he also put up for sale. We’ll take a look at 3 of Pharrell’s coolest properties – and we even found the listings! Pharrell Williams, best known as simply Pharrell is a singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur, who formed The Neptunes in the 90s with his friend Chad Hugo. They were a hip hop and r and b production dup and they produced songs for multiple artists at the time, before Pharrell became the lead vocalist of the band NERD. In 2006, Pharrell released his debut solo album, In My Mind, and later in 2013 he has featured on the hit song Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke and T.I. That same year, his song Happy was also a smash hit, AND he was featured on Daft Punk’s single Get Lucky which won Record of the Year as well as another Grammy award. So it seems It was quite the LUCKY year for Williams. Over his career, he’s received numerous awards such as 13 Grammys which I previously mentioned, and even two Academy Award nominations. These days, Pharrell is married to his longtime girlfriend, fashion designer and model Helen, and they have 4 children. As of 2020, Pharrell’s net worth is estimated at $150 million, making him one of the richest rappers in the world.
Earlier this year, an architectural wonder belonging to hip-hop superstar Pharrell Williams
came up on the LA real estate market, and it's not the only super unique property the
man owns.
The 13-time Grammy winner keeps multiple residences in his hometown of Virginia Beach, a newly
purchased $30 million compound in Florida, and an all-glass mansion in Beverly Hills,
which he also put up for sale.
We'll take a look at 3 of Pharrell's coolest properties, and we even found the listings.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses, and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Pharrell Williams, best known as simply Pharrell, is a singer, rapper, songwriter, record producer,
fashion designer, and entrepreneur who formed the Neptunes in the 90s with his friend Chad
Hugo.
They were a hip-hop and R&B production duo, and they produced songs for multiple artists
at the time, before Pharrell became the lead vocalist of the band N.E.R.D.
In 2006, Pharrell released his debut solo album, In My Mind, and later in 2013 was featured
on the hit songs Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke and T.I.
That same year, his song Happy was also a smash hit, and he was featured on Daft Punk's
single Get Lucky, which won record of the year, as well as another Grammy award.
So it seems like it was quite the lucky year for Williams.
Over his career, he's received numerous awards such as 13 Grammys, which I previously mentioned,
and even two Academy Award nominations.
These days, Pharrell is married to his long-time girlfriend, fashion designer and model Helen,

Today we're taking a look at 3 properties that hip-hop superstar Pharrell Williams calls
home, like his new mega mansion in Florida, his glass house in Beverly Hills, and more.
Follow me on Instagram to chat, and as usual, let me know whose house tour is next in those
comments down below.
Now let's get into this video.
In 2018, film and television tycoon Tyler Perry, who we also have done a house tour
on in the past, sold a gigantic modern mansion located in the mountains between Beverly Hills
and Sherman Oaks, California, more specifically in the posh Beverly Hills post office neighbourhood.
Pharrell got the place for $15.6 million, and apparently now has it back on the market
for $17 million.
The ultra-modern residence is situated on 4 acres of land overlooking downtown LA, and
has super unique architecture made up of right angles, steel, and a ton of glass.
It's even museum-like.
In fact, the entire mansion, which spans an impressive 17,475 square feet, looks like
it's a straight-up all-glass house.
Custom-built back in 1992, the structure offers 10 beds and 11 baths, as well as a 200-foot
driveway which keeps the estate private from neighbours.
The home is full of floor-to-ceiling glass windows, multiple levels, and an open floor
plan.
Glass double entry doors welcome you into the home, and they look like they belong in
a hotel or contemporary office building.
Instead of your average entryway, there's a lobby-like entrance with interior waterfall
feature – definitely a soothing addition.
The airy entrance hall also has overlapping stone marble staircases and skylights for
even more natural light.
There's a great room, surrounded by multiple other entertaining spaces.
On the ground floor, there's a games room entirely lined on one side with sharply angled
glass walls, and anchored by a bold fireplace.
Elsewhere, the formal dining room is decorated by a rock chandelier above, while the breakfast
nook is super sunny with all glass and soaring ceilings.
In the somewhat oddly-shaped kitchen, you'll find a restaurant-quality oven range and paneled
lighting.
Upstairs, many of the guest bedrooms feature interconnected balconies, and a massive master
suite for Pharrell and his wife has a modern fireplace and outdoor access.
Aside from all the indoor and outdoor space, there's even a sprawling rooftop terrace
perfect to lounge.
The grounds also feature koi ponds with a stream that flows throughout the estate, tennis
courts, rock sculptures, a grotto, and a resort-like pool with a waterfall.
From that home, we can tell that Pharrell is into the ultra-modern design also apparent
in this next place.
Earlier this year, the rapper listed another architectural home located high above LA's
Laurel Canyon for $11.95 million.
He bought the gated property over 5 years ago for a lot less, at only $7.1 million,
and it's an exceptionally long and low-slung residence to say the least.
This house is also covered in glass and windows, located on over 1.5 acres of land, and characterized
by its single-folded plate roof.
Inside, the contemporary abode looks minimalistic and spans about 5,800 square feet with 6 beds,
5 full baths, and 2 half baths, while there's also a detached two-story guest house.
Pharrell's Hollywood Hills home resembles a sleek angular oil tanker, and has 280-degree
mountain, canyon, and city views looking over LA and the San Fernando Valley.
It's private enough to fit any celeb standards, and common rooms include a giant glass-filled
living room and a formal dining area set against a floor-to-ceiling green wall.
The organic and modern kitchen has full-height windows framing the mountains and a large
island.
The master suite here has a fireplace and ensuite bath covered in dollar-bill colored
green marble, unlike anything I've personally seen before.
The west side of Pharrell's home was designed to absorb the heat of the sun, and the glass-walled
east side opens to a yard.
The grounds of the home offer lawns and a long infinity-edge swimming pool and spa,
and the guest house is separated from the main one by a motor court, which doubles as
an outdoor entertainment space.
There's even a viewing terrace above, outside the main home's living room where movies
can be viewed as they're projected onto the outside wall of the guest house.
While it seems like Pharrell is on a selling spree of his LA properties, they're far
from the only homes he owns.
This brings us to the Florida mansion.
Around the time the worldwide pandemic was hitting, word on the street was that Pharrell
got prepared by buying some new dates.
And not just any home.
He dished out about 30 million dollars for a residence called El Palmar, a unique mega-mansion
in the heart of Coral Gables on one of its largest waterfront properties.
Coral Gables is a city near Miami, and Pharrell's compound spans about 3.5 acres, located right
against the ocean.
His purchase came in just in time apparently, because according to a source, Pharrell had
been looking for a while, but he made a move quickly because he wanted to be quarantined
there.
His new home is quite the marvel, boasting over 17,000 square feet of space, 9 beds,
nearly 12 bathrooms, and 35 feet of waterfront.
It was built in 2006 and crafted by renowned architect Cesar Molina, while the tropical
landscaping is the work of Raymond Jungles.
The estate, aka El Palmar, is decked out with art, native species in the garden, a koi
pond and coral rock pathways.
Indoors, there's an open living room with large windows and a fireplace, and another
sitting room with a wood paneled walls, floors, and ceilings, complete with a TV and another
fireplace.
The expansive kitchen has an island for cooking, as well as eating breakfast at the bar if
you choose.
Other amenities in the mega mansion include a quiet library, 2000 bottle wine cellar,
pub style bar, a private service swing, and an elevator.
Most of the second floor bedrooms open out onto spacious balconies and overlook the pool,
palm trees, and ocean.
Outside, there's an impressive summer kitchen ideal for entertaining, and a hotel worthy
swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers.
All of the private waterfront Pharrell has access to at this estate would have been a
luxury when the Florida beaches were closed as well, so it seems his quarantine purchase
was a dream come true.
After taking a look at 3 of Pharrell Williams' impressive homes, I think it's time to bring
this house tour to an end.
While we didn't check out his Virginia Beach properties, I think these were enough to get
an idea of his tastes, and it seems to me like Pharrell likes to go all out when it
comes to his mansions.
He also likes picking the craziest, most contemporary, glass looking homes too.
After seeing Pharrell's first glass house in Beverly Hills, his smaller modern home
in Hollywood, and his new $30 million dollar mega mansion in Florida, which was your fave?
Mine's gotta be the compound in Florida because it has more of a timeless design than
the super contemporary ones.
But the first glass house was pretty cool, I gotta admit.
