Surfing Santas? Helping Surfers Healing- California Heroes!

Surfing Santas shredding the waves at Dana Point? We talk to the co-founders of Surfers Healing to find out how it helps their cause . Daniels and Izzy Paskotitz started Surfers Healing when they saw how the ocean and the waves helped their own autistic son, Isaiah.

Surfers Healing has 26 events all over the world and helps over 4,000 families each year with a one or two day free surfing camp. Surfing Santas at Saltcreek Beach at the Ritz-Carlton Dana Point resort is an annual contest and fundraiser.

We also talk to "Santa" Goff Stepien about what this means to a champion long board surfer over the years. We catch a rising surf star with 11-year-old Samara Lizzy as well. Yay Samara! All California Heroes!
