Los Angeles is the city of angels.
The question is not what you do here,
but where in heaven's will you should start with,
in this world-famous city of entertainment.
The beauty of the city is undoubtedly in its diversity,
which it has to offer.
Whenever you think you've seen it all,
you realize that you've only scratched the surface so far.
Los Angeles is at the same time innovative, stylish,
has the chic of Hollywood,
and still retains this aura of rejected casualness
that is so famous for California.
More than 3 million people are at home in the city of Los Angeles
and more than 12 million people live in the city's entrance area.
Over the years, the eclectic among the people
moved into this city and the surrounding area.
The early Angelenos were ranchers and adventurers.
Later on, it was the film producers and actors
who wanted to make a name for themselves.
The Roosevelt Hotel is a historic building
in the classic Spanish style at the Hollywood Boulevard.
Built in 1927, the Roosevelt played an important role
in films and in Hollywood's nightlife.
For tourists, Hollywood is above all
the home of their favorite stars.
There are guided tours of the tombs
of past celebrities from the golden age of cinema
or to the wills of the living stars.
And none of the visitors want to miss the Hollywood Boulevard.
The Walk of Fame is not an ordinary walkway.
Here, the stars from theater, television, film,
but also from radio and music
immortalized themselves with their name in a star on the panel.
If you stroll along the Walk of Fame on the Hollywood Boulevard,
you come to Grumman's Chinese Theater,
where you can see the hands and footprints,
even the legs and noses of many famous stars
of the past century,
who were immortalized in cement on the forecourt of the theater.
A saying goes,
who visits Los Angeles, but not Grumman's Chinese Theater?
It's like going to China,
but not visiting the Chinese Wall.
This building dates back to the golden age of cinema
and is one of the most spectacular houses
that has ever been opened.
A piece of China transported to Los Angeles
in the pure style of Los Angeles.
The design is said to be reminiscent of a Chinese Red Pagoda.
The theater stands for Hollywood's talent
to always put itself in the scene.
