Real Madrid Road To Champions League Semi-finals 2012

Marcelo, excellent move, excellent goal. Simon is the Zagreb supporter that gets Real Madrid off to a very good start in the Champions League. It was a fabulous goal and it's one of those where they kept their composure when the ball went out on the left-hand side to Ronaldo. He kept his composure, was tempted to have a shot. He flicks it into Benzema, he's tempted to have a shot but he passes it to Marcelo. He sees the space, passes it to... Benzema... Another pass... Goal! Cristiano Ronaldo! It was played out so well this time that even Benzema probably scored himself. But he didn't need to do that, he made a great pass. ...on his own attack. ...started to hit. It was played out, Kaká! Now the other way around! No, Kaká scores! 2-0! Well, this is Kaká, the one who scored for Milan. A classic goal for Brazilians. When the ball flies after his shot, it's not that it's very strong or precise, it just flies unobtrusively. Now you understand that if Kaká's ball is on the left or on the right, he will now end up in the corner. A great pass to Arbeló. How does he do it? Arbeló's pass! Hedira! It's Kaká! Benzema! Well, finally, Benzema scored. Again, not without adventure, but the ball ended up in the corner. How did it end up? Great! Yes, great. How does Javi Alonso cut these passes? What he does, what Javi does. From Barcelona. Even from Lourdes. ...played. Real is much stronger. The corner kick and the goal. Ronaldo heads the corner from Eusil through to the second post. And there is Benzema and there is also Sergio Ramos. And they both demand the goal. He puts it down for Hedira and it's 2-0. And then you can assume that the resistance of Olympique Lyon has broken. Hedira, Marcelo. See how that defense of Olympique Lyon opens up. And then this is an ugly goal, but it counts too. And the maker is Mesut Özil. Anyway, there is a cross through the goal of Ronaldo and Kaká. But the fourth goal comes as yet. Boom! And he is from Sergio Ramos from the corner of Kaká. And look how much patience Ramos can look at that. How long he can wait for that ball. Because the defenders of Olympique... ...always scored a goal in the Champions League. Ronaldo with his first shot. After a minute or six. Real Madrid immediately takes the initiative in the Stade de Gerland. Özil, taken down. And immediately yellow, early in the game for Chris. Özil, nice pass on Benzema. And Loris saves for Lyon. That was a very good keeper. Özil and Benzema. Worked against the ground. Free kick. Halfway through the first half for Real Madrid. Ronaldo behind the ball. Ronaldo. Fantastic. What a tempo is in this free kick. And also pay attention to Khedira. Who steps away there. A transition situation. Kontrouw puts it back. Ronaldo. Very tricked. But not very efficient this time. But this is great. Or not. Still goes Ronaldo here. And this is not smartly defended by Dabo. And the referee can not resist the appeal of Ronaldo for a penalty kick. And he should have done that. Because this is a very good 2-0. And this is called irresistible. The 100th goal of Ronaldo. Real wins with 2-0 and thus makes this evening for Ajax. Benzema. And he striked Higuaín. He's screaming inside. Oh, that didn't go for Higuaín. Callejón was on the end of it. A dream goal. Just over five and a half minutes gone. And Jose Callejón has got himself a lead. Higuaín shrugs off his mark and leaves him on the ground. Flicks in the fur. Eight minutes gone. Three now. Different types of goals as well. The pace of Higuaín. And he's going to cross the ball. And he's kidding the defender who's going to grind. He checks back. And look, the culture is absolute. Benzema take defenders away. Test the goalkeeper's ability. Now Ozil. Has to go home. Definitely onside. Flag stays down. It's five. Second goal for Callejón. Benzema. It's not only at this point that Real Madrid really do go for it. Now they've got their sixth. Now they've equaled their European home goal scoring record for the Champions League. Well, he started it off. Looks like he's going to have the final say as well. 23 goals. Ibanez. Puts in the cross. Well, they've managed something now. The team has done in the Champions League this season. They've managed to score a goal against Real Madrid. A rare souvenir. They have a big finale here. Can they celebrate a second goal? Maybe so. Yes, they can. Well, damage limitation. And it won't be Real Madrid's record home victory in the Champions League. And CSKA snatched it from the weapons of this game here in Moscow. Return pass for Kaká. 26 minutes gone. They did a lot in the Champions League. Here's Ronaldo. Goal! The goalkeeper has made it 10. Cristiano Ronaldo for his league. It's such a long way out. It's back to go through some places. And it could be here for Benzema. He's only been on the field 30 seconds. Incredible. I didn't see if he had scored a goal. In the centre. Oh, what a strike! Magnificent goal. That's as good as many that have been scored on this famous ground this season. What a sweet goal. Great goal on the counter-attack. Sweet left foot. Benzema. Ronaldo in support. And he's kicked him out. Cristiano Ronaldo seals it with a goal. Well, that was very unselfish from Karim Benzema. He was in a brilliant position. Dangerous. Goal! 1-0. Franck Ribery. 17th minute. There were no moments. No strikes. But one standard ball. Dangerous. Will it be a goal? It's a goal. 1-1. Real took the ball from the goal. There's no other way to say it. He probably scored in the most unobvious episode of this attack. It's from Cain Traoré. Pass. Dangerous moment. Goal! A minute to go. The main time of the match. Mario Gomez. 286th attempt. Dross is a belter. Di Maria struck it against the lava. Penalty. The driving seat. Score. Dross can't help himself. Dross. Gomez tumbles. Penalty. Gomez took a roll in the penalty. In the Bernabeu. Scores for Bayern Munich. And the tie is all square. I almost needed a break in here. Just to get away from the lunacy outside in some atmosphere. Dispatches it well. And now for Real Madrid. He is denied brilliantly by Neuer. Who had a fair wait. Gomez. And it's getting away José. Casillas must react. Dross. Casillas does react. Not just himself. Here is Alonso. He does score. Another good save. And Real Madrid are right back in it. Casillas couldn't have so far to go. Ramos. Still travelling. Desperate. Schweinsteiger. Play in the final. The Bavarians will be guests at their own party. And Chelsea are invited.
