The Steel River - The Infamous Diablo Portage (Raw Footage)

Steel River, Ontario, Canada.



Infamous Diablo portage is known by canoeists such as Kevin Callan and Cliff Jacobson as a grueling route due to the rugged terrain and the quick 100 m gain in elevation.

It is located twenty-four kilometers east of Terrace Bay, and is 1673 m long. It links Santoy Lake to Diablo Lake and is the gatekeeper of the Steel River Provincial Park.
