Special New Houseplant || Finishing The Grow Room || Shopping at Lowes
Typically I don't get into the rare plant hauls or trending tropicals / fad plants, but I was informed by a special friend that an awesome plant was in the mail and on it's way to my house. Knowing this, it was time to finish up my grow space to make sure all the heat and humidity could be held in. I started the video off shopping at lowes to get one of the Zipwall Systems. Of course, I had to do some plant shopping, so I checked out the nursery and saw some nice plants from costa farms like the Raven ZZ, Birkin Philodendrons and some Pink Mink Angel Wing Begonias. What really caught my eye was the Philodendron scandens, but I restrained myself and did not get it. Didn't make sense to get more plants when I hadn't finished setting up the grow space for the plants I already have. Putting up the zipwall system was fast and easy and so far I only have the one critique that I mentioned in the video. Putting the plastic up has never been easier! Finally I am able to better control the humidity for the houseplants and hold the heat in more efficiently. Finally, my new special houseplant arrived in the mail. I did not do a formal plant mail unboxing, but I got some footage of the plant's packaging. Once I had the new plant unboxed and watered, I sat down and gave the back story of my old Philodendron gloriosum and talked some about how I will care for it. Of course I made a few remarks about this rare plant haul and how it isn't a rare plant, talked about what it was like buying these rare plants before they were trendy.
