Chinese Couple Live in Seclusion in a 400-m2 House in Suburban Hangzhou

Zhao Yihao, an architect and an expert in ancient architecture, lives in a 400-m2 house with three floors at the foot of Wuyun Mountain, Hangzhou. Borrowing old wisdom, he spent 3 years renovating the house into a tenon-and-mortise-structure villa with rammed earth walls. Most importantly, no construction waste was produced during the renovation. After moving here, the physical and mental health of Mr. Zhao and his wife has been greatly improved.
