So here we are, another ride, same day, different video. I want to talk about the trail tech and why
this is a crucial piece of equipment if you're going to be back here in the backcountry doing
riding on trails you don't know where you're at and if you're going to be riding with buddies.
Great feature this has is the buddy tracking where if you all have this and you have the
buddy tracking antenna hooked up you can see where your friends go at the Y or the T in the trail
instead of having to stop, wait, and play that tag and go game that is the normal of larger group
rides. So Trail Tech Voyager Pro, this thing is sweet. Multitude of screens. The ones that I use
the most are going to be the map as a redundancy to the TomTom and for more remote mapping
because this has all the the jeep trails and the backcountry trails on it which is pretty dope.
So we got the main function screen for the bike and that is your miles per hour, your elevation,
your trip, engine voltage, your outside temperature, and your water temperature. The
water temperature is running off of a little fin that you stick into the little slots on your
radiator and that is a ton of information. You can also get RPMs and on another screen
and you can run this for say for like rally stuff with your trip and distance. You can have a trip
one, a trip two, your speed, and then you can also put time and you can easily reset any one of
these independently of each other by the quick little quick hold. So this thing also has a
really cool, what would you call it, a infotainment center
screen where you can bluetooth your headset and your phone into this and run them independently
from here versus having to take out your phone, change songs, you can actually scroll through
your song list, make phone calls, all that kind of stuff from the dash if you like. I don't like
to get that complicated with it, instead I run it like this with my main bike information all the
time navigating off the tom-tom and that's how we do it, that's the setup. So I just have to say
if you're going to be back country exploring and you don't want to be worried about getting lost,
you can track your, you can log your track. You go into the three little dots here on the side
then you're going to go to track, you want to start a new track, start a new track,
reset counters, and then right there that means you're recording your track. So no matter what,
wherever you get to, you can always turn back around and go back out the way you came
following your track. It's great, it's great for exploring. I've done multitude of trips in many
different states without any prior planning. It took a little longer along the trail because I
had to stop and look to see where the trails went but it made for a better adventure. So I
highly recommend the Trail Tech Voyager Pro for anybody who's going to be riding dirt bikes,
especially in the backcountry by yourself. Pair it with a spot or a Garmin inReach
and you're pretty, and some tools and some other good preparation and you don't have to worry about
that piss poor performance. So if you got any questions about the Trail Tech, you want more
information, shoot me a comment down below, send me a message. I have two of these on, you know,
I have one on each of my bikes but it's also great that you can actually take it off and it works as
an independent GPS from the bike. So that's pretty, that's pretty cool. These mounts are very
solid. This is the standard mount. They also have a pro mount that is made of aluminum. The aluminum
one has a turn dial on the top of it and it would have been, wouldn't have worked in this application
and the other thing is I don't like how you can't lock it in here. This one has a little allen key,
the smallest little allen key that fits in the side that allows you to lock it in here and that
kind of is a little bit of an anti-theft, an anti-theft feature of it and there we go.
Gotta be smarter than the device. Okay, so there we go. That's my setup. Peace out.
