Dealing With Damaged Plants || Philodendron deflexum
Recently I received some new plant mail and this particular plant needed a little extra TLC. I was going to do a plant haul or plant unboxing for this Philodendron deflexum, but it was so cold outside when it arrived that I wanted to get the plant out of the package as soon as possible to warm it up. In this video I'm going through what needs to be done to rehab plants damaged during shipping, at least in regards to philodendrons. In general I would do pretty much the same for any plant that arrived in this condition, with the exception of plants that prefer extremely dry conditions. I don't see any signs of root rot on this plant, but I will talk more in depth about treating root rot when I repot this plant in a few weeks. I will also give more info on this specific plant when I do a repot. I may have said the original name for this plant was Philodendron macrophyllum, that was a mess-up, I meant Philodendron megalophyllum.
