10 Legendary Things Ronaldo Did in 2021

One of the best, if not the best player in the world of football, it's just wonderful. And of course, to no avail. RONALDO! And there is the breakthrough. Nine and a half minutes. Here goes Morata, look at Ronaldo, unmarked in the middle. Out came Cranio. Big trouble here for Ronaldo with two against them last November. And blasts it for two against them inside. Morata ahead of him. Chiesa to Ronaldo. And RONALDO! Hat-trick against Cagliari once again. A masterpiece of a goal. A masterclass. Taking it quickly, Molina with the drive! Manuel Molina, stolen! Here it is from Ronaldo. Appeals for a penalty. And he's given it. An arm up. There's no one better. It's Ronaldo! Juve still in the challenge of Forestieri. And Ronaldo arrives! To save Andrea Chielo! He's still got it alright. Chielo heading for the exit door. But then his superstar comes up with two goals. In the driving, dramatic rain. And Juve... Chiesa's had a couple of chances already for Juve. Lodges it forward for Morata. And Chiesa's just kept... Bernadeschi for Chiellini! Who's offside! It won't count. He literally has to go up. He hits it straight to Rabiot. He's spotting Ronaldo. Ronaldo cuts inside! And they're century! Here he comes. And there he goes. And that is international goal number 109. A joint record. He has scored more goals in the competition than Ronaldo. No, he has scored more goals in the finals than Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo strikes and Ronaldo scores. Fitting that there is more than a sprinkling of magic. About an historical. It's happened. Carlos finding its target. And Ronaldo finding the back of the net again. He's bringing out his greatest hits on what is his greatest international night. That was Ronaldo who got his head on the ball there. And there he is racing through the middle. As Bernardo Silva brings the ball forward. Support from Bruno Fernandes alongside him. It's into Diogo Shota. Good chance here for Portugal. Ronaldo! The perfect counter-attack from Portugal. And their record-breaking goalscorer. Renato Sanchez. Ronaldo. Rafa Silva. Ronaldo. Rafa Silva. Ronaldo. It's 1-4. It's absolutely sensational for Portugal. Ronaldo scores again. Cristiano Ronaldo driving at last. Opening up the angle for the shot. Skillfully done. It's Cristiano Ronaldo after half an hour for Juventus. Who blasts in their first goal of the new campaign. Of the new year. A wasteful then Juve. Stringer-Larsen. Allowing Cristiano Ronaldo. From his last Serie A outing at the end of November against Lazio. Meant to preserve his injury. Not his fault though. It's to happen. It's brilliant. Piedra running in behind here. And he's managed to slot it for number two early in the second half. For the first goal he scored in Serie A for Juve against Atalanta. Was an absolute bullet. This one was fashioned through clever running. And a deft touch to take it away from Moussa. Handball. Albeit non-deliberate. Just before a goal has been scored. I just think the law's wrong. Juve with a chance to wrap it up here though. Cristiano Ronaldo. No mistake. Two goals for CR7. And the new year begins. Cristiano Ronaldo has yet to add to Coppa Italia. Here he is on the ball. Surging away from Vidal. Just behind McKennie but in sparkling form. Particularly in 2021 for the Bianconeri. Ronaldo did enough to convince Gianpaolo Calvarese. He should have had a free kick in this semi-final. Up steps Ronaldo. And he scores. Juventus back on level terms. A tricky month of January for CR7. Stefan de Vrij. And Danovic comes out. Ronaldo's pinked Bastoni's pocket. And that is a gift for Juventus. Perfectly finished by their top scorer. A rare defensive lapse from Inter. A mix-up between Andanovic and Bastoni. And that's the last person to lift, I should say, the domestic cup in Italy. You sense he's on a mission to change that. Here he is again. Was he caught by Vidal? Advantage played. Vidal is going to miss the second leg.
