USA vs Costa Rica 6-0 All Goals & Extended Highlights | February 3, 2020

Beautiful night here in the heart of Houston, Texas. Her squad will set up like this. Lloyd with the captain's armband. She sits at 13 total CONCACAF. Good look at Costa Rica's starting lineup. Lixi Rodriguez stays the same part. But like the United States, Costa Rica making a few saves. Here's a look at those seven changes for Costa Rica. All seven of those players getting their first starts in this tournament. After this United States back line that they have within their squad. 20 players named for each squad. And Raquel Rodriguez for both United States and Costa Rica there. A lot of quality. Francia Gonzalez gets us underway here at BBB. Done. Getting after Herrera. Gets deflected. Corner kick right away in favor of the U.S. She spent a lot of time as a substitute, has Kristen Press. Kristen Press has time to shoot. Cuts it to her left. Bends it! Okay, Kristen Press! When you get Kristen Press this time on the ball, you commit. McDonald started in that game, but here comes Carly Lloyd. She's trying to get another one. Tips it away from Tapia, but it's over the end line. Two days. It's a lot. As McDonald to the end line. Tapia comes and scoops it up. Villalobos ends up scooping up the free ball. Llorana gets Allie Krieger. Herrera beats Krieger. Their back line so they can spring players through like this. Lindsay Horan! She does it again! Second goal of the night. USA, fifth goal in this tournament for Lindsay Horan. Horan, she can't be stopped. Jess McDonald diving to it, but it's just wide. Of the net. But Press trying to get another for the U.S. Lloyd. Now Ertz. Here's back pose for the U.S. It's gonna go there. Ertz! Thinks she got a tip. She's not gonna get the call. Can't get out of their own end. Press is offside. Big foul on Dunn. Crystal Dunn loves this. An easy one to mark. Press whips it in. Muis. I don't think she thought it was gonna fall to her. She provides some width with McDonald. Oh, what a curling ball in. Lloyd thought she would. To the far post. Cleared away, but not out of the U.S. Sam Muis has been in the right spot. Two times. Goes straight by her first defender onto her right foot. Kristen Press makes it two for herself today! Balls! We're beauties! That ball played in by Allen Press to get a full head of steam. And then she just takes on one defender. Sizes the next up. Recognizing she has space. The mix headed away by Costa Rica. Dunn! That water bottle flew and you kind of thought for a second. Crystal Dunn made the net shake. Horan Lloyd. Really good ball in behind the back line. Ertz! No stoppage time here. To the first half. As the United States with two goals by Press and one goal by Lindsay Horan. Find themselves. By Gabrielle Guillen. Costa Rica is defending deep in their own half. If you're a U.S. fan, all the way here. Attacking. Now Press, far post. So I get why she's trying to draw it. This ball in. Now Lloyd! Too much on the defender. Costa Rican squad. Here's Lloyd! Now Lloyd! That was a silky touch by Lloyd and she was offside. Press takes this one. Horan! Saved by Tapia. She needed to make a save because Carly Lloyd was right in her face. Ball in the back post. What a save by Tapia. Horan sees the run on the back post by Lloyd. O'Hara, first few touches of the game. Scoots around one defender and then the plant foot got in the way. And she's laughing about it. Horan finds a way to get it. Now that's a good pass to Carly Lloyd. Trying to return the assist favor. Press! Swims around one player. Finds Ertz! Defenders look foolish. Ertz! O'Hara gets chopped down. That's going to be a yellow card for Yasmin Elam. There goes Ertz near post. It's Muis! She roofs it for number four! The timing was perfect by the U.S. Ertz creating the game. Waiting on confirmation for who. The way that the U.S. are set up in attack. Rapinoe taking the... O'Hara finds the end line. It's Jess McDonald! No! It's saved twice by Tapia! O'Hara! Press! Wanted that hat trick but she found herself offside. McDonald! Oh, Tobin Heath wanted that one. Muis! Second chance for Muis! Jess McDonald's going to make it five! Sometimes as a goal scorer you have to do all the hard work. Sometimes you just have to clean up the scraps. Trying to avoid a tackle there. Doesn't end up on the shot. Rapinoe's shot goes well up and over. This ball comes in. Coran gets the first header. That's going to be an easy one for Tapia. O'Hara. Muis! Off the bar. That's going to be a goal! Sam Muis as shocked as me. Heath! Saved initially and then sent out of bounds. Another look at the goal. And Press! Kristen Press. Has that look. We're going to have no additional stoppage time to this one. That's it. Behind a brace from Press and a brace from Muis.
