So I said I wasn't gonna come back out here until March but here I am in this outfit and I'm still
cold. I just got a hoodie on. Hoodie and pants. It's not that cold to me. It's freezing. It's like 50
but the wind's blowing. A little bit chilly. I'm gonna try to catch some fish today. I've been here
for an hour or so before Miss Hunter got here. Caught me two little largemouth. Primarily trying
to catch spotted bass today but largemouth are biting. We'll catch them so hopefully get some
good footage. Might let Miss Hunter catch her a fish or two. We'll see how it goes but let's pick
up the spinnerbait and roll it around a little while. I'm sick leave me alone but get it. Let
them know. Let them know what's up. If that rod breaks from now till the end of next year,
when that rod breaks, it will most definitely be my fault. 100 percent.
If that rod ever breaks, the 100 times I stepped on it and the 18 times I've caught a fish on it
and just threw it down, don't matter okay. But Hunter stepped on it right at the end. Her little
bitty tiny foot. Her little bitty don't weigh nothing tail. She's the reason that it's
gonna break. So if it does ever break and I haven't had much problems with it but if it does
it will certainly be her fault. Now if I pick it up right now, break it boat swinging a six pounder,
Hunter's fault. Sorry of what? The spinnerbait. Oh yep. I'll go grab it for y'all.
I do have it right here. So basically the other day I was fishing a local tournament.
Let me get the power pole down right. Alright power pole's down. Fished a local tournament
the other day okay. This is spinnerbait that I've been throwing for like three months. I've had the
same exact one tied on just like this. So I throw up along the bank, a windblown bank. I hook a four
and a half pounder right. I swing the fish. I reel the fish to the boat. I thought it was a two and
a half three pounder. Swing him, bounce him off the side of the boat, pull him up in the air over
into the boat, into the driver's seat and right here I just noticed that my knot was the only
thing left tied on. Literally my knot was hanging halfway off of the metal. I landed, no I landed
the fish, took the bait out and I was like dang that is extremely lucky. My knot was literally
halfway off. After I unhooked the fish I hit my knot like that it came completely off. So caught
a four and a half pounder. It's actually big fish of the whole tournament on this exact. It's a Lost
River Lure spinnerbait. Now it's a very old one. It's a very old one and it's a light wire wire. So
it's not the spinnerbait's fault that it broke. I've been using it for way too long and it's going
to happen sometime. So my knot was literally right there. Daggum got lucky as heck to land that fish.
If it just broke a little bit more no way I'd ever land that fish. So super lucky but that's why I
throw that thing. That big hook right there. Let me grab it. So since it was broke I actually stuck
this thing down in my super glue. It's a little super glue on the tip now. But that's why I throw
that spinnerbait because I like that dang hook it's got in it. And I really do. I like the light wire
wire that it does have in it. It just you know you got to know that when you're catching them
really good on it you have to change spinnerbaits a little more often because the wire is a little
bit lighter wire. But I believe it gets you more bites. I definitely do. Oh my gosh.
It certainly is. It's very windy. I don't know how good you can hear me. Nice fish especially
for this lake. Probably a three pounder. Maybe yeah probably three pounder.
In a tsunami. Oh my. Well we're out here in 800 mile per hour wind. Like 900. It helps whenever
you're throwing a crankbait because you get that wind at your back you can throw it about 800 miles.
So I was just way on out there. Had a piece of pine straw on my bait whenever I cast.
So I thought I had wasted the whole cast. Obviously the pine straw came off and that
fish got on there. So pretty good trade. Pine straw to a three pounder. Not bad. Will take it.
Yep. I'll never be saying where you at. I'll never tell. I'll never tell where we at for real though.
I just say a little small little local pond.
Little local rivers all. It ain't no big deal.
Just a small little local lake. Small little you know 30,000 acre local lake.
Something like that.
Kyle put me out on an island. So if anybody wants to come pick me up on this little
well I'm just kidding. We're not fighting no more. He picked me up.
Pretty fish. Two and a half pounder or so. Not bad. We'll see. See how big he is?
That is a big one too. All right. We just went out there for a few hours. Caught a few fish and
had a decent day. Hunter didn't have too fun I don't believe. But it's really cold. Really windy.
Hunter's bundled up as can be. I'm out here suffering with nothing but light pants on
and one hoodie because Hunter has all my stuff. And she's still miserable. So if I drop Hunter
off at the car I'm gonna go fish for a little while longer. And that's it guys. Hope y'all
