While it was years ago the couple divorced in 2015 to be exact, it appears Paula is still
living in the bachelorette pad she snagged just after the separation.
In 2014, the actress moved from the Hollywood Hills of Ode she shared with her former hubby,
to a contemporary ranch residence in the Montanito community near Calabasas that cost her just
over 2 million dollars.
We'll check out Paula's current home as well as where she used to live.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Paula Patton is an actress who made her feature film debut in the 2005 comedy Hitch.
She would appear in subsequent movies over the years like Precious, Deja Vu, Warcraft
and more.
At the time of this recording, she's earned herself a net worth of about 10 million dollars
or more.
Way back in the early 90s when Paula was only 16, she met a 14 year old Robin Thicke at
an under 21 hip hop club on the Sunset Strip when he asked her to dance.
The couple started dating 2 years later, then marrying in 2005 and welcoming a son later
in 2010.
After 21 years together and nearly 9 of those being married, Paula filed for divorce from
Robin which was finalized in 2015.
Paula's split from Robin was very public amid allegations of his infidelity and his
revelations of drug and alcohol abuse as well.
Not to mention, there was that weird Miley Cyrus twerking incident on public TV.
It shouldn't come as a surprise then that Paula wanted to say goodbye to the home she
used to share with Robin, located high above the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.
This was the estranged couple's long time residence, but Paula decided to turn her sights
to the somewhat remote Montanito neighborhood located between Malibu and Calabasas instead.
It was here that Paula purchased her current home, a roomy 1960's contemporary ranch
style abode situated on a sprawling, heavily wooded and private lot.

They reportedly contain one drop of human blood somewhere on the soles.
And not the metaphorical type.

this video.
In 2014, it was reported that Paula and ex-Robin were unloading their longtime Hollywood residence,
so let's take a look there first.
Located high above the Sunset Strip, they were selling this home for just over 2.9 million
dollars.
And according to property records, they acquired it in 2005 from Robin's father, Alan Thicke,
about a week back in 1990.
The two-story home was originally constructed in 1965 on a .29 acre lot, and inside it spans
3,158 square feet of space.
While the home has a rustic charm, it's no doubt been updated since then.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms throughout, and double front doors with a semi-circular
window lead you inside.
As soon as you walk in, there's a loft-like multi-level living space with red tiles and
a wood-paneled ceiling, while the back wall boasts a brick fireplace.
The main living area has a series of different alcoves including a dining space with 3 windows,
a red-walled TV lounge and a sky-lit, rustic kitchen with pine-paneled cabinets, and some
sort of pizza oven in one corner.
The upper level of Paula's former home boasted the guest bedrooms, and one of them was transformed
into a music studio at the time.
The master suite occupied the lower level and had turquoise walls and another brick
fireplace.
Back in the TV lounge, glass sliders open to an iron-railed terrace lit up with fairy
lights that runs along the back of the home, and hosts views of the canyons and LA.
In the living room, more glass sliders open up to the yard where there's a red brick
courtyard featuring a plunge-sized swimming pool and a detached spa.
Once the estranged couple was done with that house we just looked at, Paula actually upgraded
when she purchased her bachelorette pad – the spot she still lives in to this day.
Apparently, the former house was actually delisted, but if anyone stayed living there
it would've been Mr. Thick.
Anyways, Paula left the Hollywood Hills in 2014 for the semi-remote neighborhood of Montanito
in the Santa Monica Mountains between Malibu and Calabasas.
The baggage claim actress spent over 2 million dollars on her rustic modern home, which is
situated on a very wooded, plush acre of land full of oak trees.
Her home is very secluded, and according to listing materials, larger than her last home,
spending 4,078 square feet of space with 5 beds and 4 full baths.
It's a split-level, contemporary ranch residence that was originally built in the 1960s, and
a rock-lined circular driveway leads you to the gothic-style double front doors.
Once walking in Paula's home, there's a roomy two-level living space with beautiful
stone-tiled floors, floor-to-ceiling glass, and a steep, vaulted wood ceiling.
A chunky stone wall divides the entryway from a comfortable dining room that has glass sliders
out to the front yard, and much of the home blends indoor and outdoor living well.
In the middle of the common area, there's a modern kitchen with black cabinets, granite
countertops, and an island in the center with space for 4 to eat.
The living room is open to the kitchen just a few steps below, and the spaces main feature
is a rugged stone fireplace that stretches from wall to wall, and ceiling to floor.
There are also glass sliders and a wall of windows in the living room that open to a
wraparound deck overlooking the trees.
Elsewhere, family room has two walls decked out in wood panels, and the ceiling has wood
beams.
Other features in Paula's abode include an office recreation room, music studio, and
a children's area, according to Listing Materials.
There are 4 guest bedrooms, most with wood floors and vaulted ceilings, and one of which
has a bay window and a cabin-style combo bed and desk platform that hangs from the ceiling
via ropes.
Paula's spacious master suite boasts skylights, more wood floors, and another supersized stone
fireplace.
The attached bathroom is renovated and fresh with more skylights, a sunken tub, and a steam
shower.
There are more windows and glass sliders throughout the home that lead you out to the deck to
maximize access to the outdoors.
One part of the wraparound deck off of the main level steps down to Paula's swimming
pool, which is nicely shaded by trees, and there's also a spa.
Another piece of the deck overlooks the outdoor dining area, where the trees around here are
strung with lights making for a cute ambience.
The one acre property additionally offers a fenced in riding arena and room to keep
horses.
The listing for the home at the time described it as a magnificent natural beauty, and this
retreat definitely is.
I can see why Paula has stayed here so long, and I can imagine it was a nice fresh start
after her split.
Alright guys, so that about wraps it up for our Paula Patton house tour.
After checking out where the actress has called home for years, as well as her former Hollywood
house she shared with her ex, what did you guys think?
I think that both of the homes she's lived in recently had a bit of a cabin theme to
them.
They were rustic, with modern upgrades, and lots of wooden accents.
I personally thought the homes were charming, and especially Paula's current home with
its spacious open floor plan and high ceilings.
Not to mention the woods surrounding the property make it even more appealing and private.
Be sure to let me know what you liked or didn't like about the actress' homes down in the
