How'd you do today, sir?
Hey, it's Vegas.
And yeah, I'm in Vegas.
This is the last leg of my trip.
Drove all the way from New York,
just passed through Monument Valley.
This is my last stop before I head to my new home
in Santa Clara, California.
And I had to stop here.
Las Vegas, Bacchanal Buffet.
Those of you guys who've seen my videos before,
you know this is my favorite buffet in the world.
And I'm not gonna miss an opportunity
because I'm driving through to stop and eat here.
And since I've shown you guys what they have for breakfast,
what they have for brunch,
I'm gonna show you guys what they have for dinner.
It's four o'clock on a Thursday afternoon
and I figured no one will be here
because who eats dinner at four o'clock on a Thursday?
Well, apparently, a lot of people.
That was the longest I ever had to wait in line
for this place, about an hour.
And of course, I'm starving.
First meal of the day.
I cannot wait.
I'm gonna go up and see what they have.
As I mentioned in my previous videos,
Bacchanal breaks their buffet down
by different sections and different themes.
So, this end I'm at with the beginning
is the Asian stuff.
And then you keep going
and there's some pho, soups, salads, cheeses.
And then you go all the way to the end,
you're gonna get your meats and then your seafood.
Before you start eating any buffet,
you gotta scout it out.
Let's see what they have.
Asian section.
Ooh, chicken feet.
This is new.
Chicken feet and black bean sauce.
Ah, wow.
The sauce looks good for this crab,
but skip that.
Crispy sole.
That looks very nice and crispy, actually.
Skip the egg rolls.
Skip the dumplings.
We wanna try to skip all flowery, noodley stuff.
Xiaomai, dumpling stuff you can get at any Chinatown.
Look at this.
Chicken ginseng soup.
This actually looks quite legit.
And usually, if you get a good bowl of this soup,
it's hearty, it's good for you, it's delicious.
And they have congee here.
We got the sushi aisle, sashimi stuff.
I don't eat anything raw, unfortunately.
Otherwise, I gotta tell on this stuff.
It looks really good,
but I'm gonna skip all the sashimi and sushi.
I feel the Chinese food at this buffet
is very Cantonese, Southern Chinese focused.
Here you have your supposed Peking duck,
but this is definitely not Peking duck.
It's just roast duck.
Roast pork, some veggies,
lo mein, fried rice.
Okay, this is all stuff you can get anywhere in the world,
so let's skip all this.
This is kind of something I'm a little tempted by.
All sorts of different noodle soups.
And I actually really like the pho here.
It tastes really, really good.
Ramen's really good too.
Ah, this is something new here.
Singapore laksa.
Never had this.
My one weakness.
I said no noodles, no dumplings, no carbs,
but I might have to get a bowl of soup.
Of course, Bacchanal's gotta balance everything out.
So you got your salads,
got a lot of variety of salads.
Anybody else really have urge to eat pizza
when they see on a buffet?
Especially this one, look at this.
This pepperoni pizza looks actually really good.
Thin crust, melty cheese,
nice big slices of pepperoni.
This, I am a huge fan of.
Anytime I see the head of an animal
along with its, you know, meaty body parts.
Look at this pile of pork.
Roasted pig.
The skin looks really crispy.
And you got the pig's feet over there.
That's legit stuff.
Did you guys see that?
I think that thing just smiled at me.
I actually really love the pasta here.
I love the meatballs and I love the rigatoni.
The rigatoni here is fantastic.
And I love they make tacos for you
right there fresh in front of your face.
You know, this is my favorite type of miracle round.
The ones involving sizzling piles of meat.
I love this.
They give you little bottles of juice.
I usually mix this with seltzer water.
You got guava, mango.
In the morning, they also give you watermelon,
which is my favorite.
You never run into the issue of your server
not filling your juice glass fast enough.
I actually really like the soups here.
I love the clam chowder.
And this is truffle mushroom.
Oh man, I bet you that's gonna be awesome.
Look at this.
Ain't nothing wrong with having pork belly for dinner.
On top of some grits.
Sign me up for that.
I know this is probably not the best thing to get.
I gotta get sliders.
I bet you this is gonna be good.
Great short ribs.
This is the carnivore station.
This is where all your meaty dreams come true.
And one of my favorite things here
is the rack of lamb.
After you get your meat,
you got different sides.
Potatoes, corn, carrots, broccoli.
Yeah, get that.
And then of course, chicken, fried chicken,
and some waffle fries.
We got the whole seafood section.
And this section is massive.
We got salmon, rolled sole, and miso sea bass.
All of them looks good.
I think I'm gonna have to get all three.
Stone crabs.
If you guys ever been down to Miami
or the Florida Keys,
you know how much these suckers cost.
So get some.
This is not the regular types of crab legs
you'll find at a Chinese buffet.
These are the expensive kind.
Get some of this as well.
Now that I've scouted out the buffet,
I formed my plan of attack.
It's time to execute.
Okay.
Here's what I got.
This is round one.
So round one, you got to take it kind of easy.
You got to mix the meats with some salad
because you don't want to go too much meat too fast.
You're gonna wear yourself out.
Not exactly going by my own philosophy here.
Kind of a lot of meat here.
But trust me, there is salad underneath this.
You just can't see it.
The wonderful pig that smiled at me back then.
Yeah, I got his leg.
It was just sitting there.
No one was gonna take it.
But pig feet, that's one of the best eating out there.
I got some mushroom truffle soup.
I got this because I know it tastes good
and also truffles are expensive.
Never go wrong with this soup.
So awesome.
Perfect starter.
That's pretty good.
You could tell when a pepperoni,
it's either like a good piece of pepperoni
or it's dominoes.
Put you guys like a salad.
One thing I've been waiting to try is this roast pig.
I don't know if this would have tasted really different
as soon as it was cooked.
But right now it's a bit, it's a bit tough.
I do feel like if I got this pig right out of the cooker,
right out of the oven,
I think it would taste really different.
But right now, the skin is hardened up.
The meat's hardened up.
Round two.
I've opted for some pasta.
Just a little bit, little bit.
I got some rigatoni.
Some meatball.
Since the rigatoni is vegetarian,
you combine it with the meatball.
The Italian dishes from this buffet
legit taste like you went to some Italian restaurant
and you ordered these dishes.
This is a spinach ravioli,
which looks insanely pretty.
Oh, that's good.
I love spinach ravioli when it's done well.
What I don't like about this round,
obviously it's going to fill you up much faster,
but every item here is awesome.
My soda water, seltzer, bubble water,
whatever you want to call it, just arrived.
For my pineapple juice.
Pineapple soda.
Round three, I'm going all out on meat.
So we went to the carving station
and we got some brisket, prime rib,
and we got some lamb chop.
I just took two bites of that brisket.
And it felt like I was taking bites
of two completely different brisket.
On the fattier side, nice melty fat in that bite.
Spectacular.
A little salty, pretty good.
The other bite, more lean brisket,
a little too tough.
Now my favorite, the lamb chop.
That's always something I always get here.
Round four, got some pork belly and grits.
I feel like the pork belly is just a one biter, so.
Nice, juicy, soft pork belly.
I don't even like grits, but that dish,
that was really good.
Now let's try the braised beef with mashed potatoes.
Oh my god, that's tender.
I can't even tell where the beef ends
and the mashed potato begins.
I got this, although I kind of regret it
because it doesn't look that good.
This slider, I swear, these sliders
have been sitting there for like, for a long time.
I'm sure this was good once upon a time,
but I don't know about this now.
Teaches me to judge a book by its cover.
Although, this burger has been sitting
out there for a little bit.
It's still really, really tender and nice.
So I'm fourth place in,
and typically during this stage of my buffet eating,
I take a break and go eat some seafood.
So this is the running downhill portion of the marathon.
Salmon is awesome.
This is what you would order at a seafood restaurant,
but here you can have as much as you want.
Oh, I love this.
Look at this.
It's a little frying pan.
Can I keep this?
I wonder if anyone has ever tried
the miniature cookware diet
where you can eat whatever you want,
but it can only be cooked within this little frying pan.
This is the rolled sole.
Oh, this is covered in hot oil.
Whoa, Bacchanal, you have outdone yourself.
You just incorporate a hot oil into a seafood dish
inside a mini frying pan.
I love you.
This is literally like me going into a seafood restaurant,
ordering a fish and then dumping hot oil all over it.
There's something about crab legs.
It's just kind of fun to eat.
Just dip it in butter with some lemon
with some cocktail sauce.
And you could eat like plates full of this
and you're still going strong.
If you guys want,
if you don't like it cold,
because usually on the Chinese buffets,
they serve it warm,
they'll actually heat it up for you.
After the seafood,
now it's time to scour the buffet one last time
to see if there's anything you missed
or there's something you want a second serving up.
I don't know what it is,
but every time I come here,
I gotta get the pho.
It's not even like it's the best tasting pho.
It's just, I don't know.
Something about it.
It's really good actually.
And there's something about
being able to get as much pho as you want.
I really like that.
I feel like a human being's stomach
is separated into different compartments
and there's special room reserved,
like a secret chamber
that's only reserved for desserts.
No matter how much food I have,
I can always eat dessert.
So dessert,
I basically got a lot.
This is a chocolate puff.
That's redundantly sweet bread.
And inside was an abyss of chocolate mousse.
Strawberry, not just covered in chocolate,
but matcha.
That's awesome.
And little pearls of crunchy rice thingies.
I don't know what they are.
This is the best way to consume fruit.
I hit it.
I need a chocolate cup of strawberries.
And the strawberries are really dainty.
How big this is?
Massive.
I found this.
I don't know what this is.
It's like a strawberry jelly.
It's like a strawberry jello shot.
Oh, this jello's actually really good.
A green tea matcha cake.
Oh god, please marry me.
This is one of the fluffiest,
lightest thing I've ever had.
Chocolate mousse.
I want to nose dive into this thing.
Tiramisu cup.
Like literally, you can just eat the whole cup.
So, cheers.
I am beyond done.
This is my last video of Bach Man Buffet.
I covered breakfast.
I covered brunch.
I didn't want to do a third video,
but a lot of people were asking me about like
what their dinner looked like.
So, that's a typical dinner here at the Bacchanal.
Like I said in my previous videos,
this is my favorite buffet.
Because not only do they have like insane amount of different things,
everything they have, well, most everything they have,
you can tell it's quality.
And that's why I love it.
Because it's basically like going to a lot of different types of restaurants,
but all in one place.
And you can eat as much as you want.
For the last time from the Bacchanal Buffet,
see you later.
