Sound Deadening vs. Thermal Insulation [HEAT TEST]

If you've been following Fat Fender Garage for a while, you know the difference between sound deadening and insulation pretty well -- Most sound deadeners do just that, quiet things up in the cab. This becomes a problem when you just have sound deadener and nothing to insulate heat, as the material has a good chance of conducting heat already. That's why we exclusively use the Restomod Air Thermal Membrane here at Fat Fender. It's a great product that does two in one, and is a necessity for someone who wants max efficiency from their air conditioning system in their truck.
