West Fork Oak Creek Canyon - First Hike of the Fall

Hey guys what's going on it's me again it's Sunday fun day yay and we're getting ready to explore this beautiful trail it's my first hike of the fall season so i'm super excited and with me today hello good morning it's a little cold you guys it's 55 degrees here in Sedona and we are getting ready so come along with us it's gonna be fun oh yeah very fun you look like we forced you to come are you cold it's a little cold yeah all right so let's get started west fork trail is a gateway to red rock secret mountain wilderness less than a half a mile away it could be less than half a mile away do you think yes well my wife says half a mile that means it's like a five mile right and then she gets us lost so i've learned that when she says go left i have to go right let's hope that doesn't happen today oh oh can you hear the echo it's not like an echo no not really yo the last time i came i missed that part i don't remember okay this part is nice let's continue to explore oh any fish you're lying to me oh i spooked them away no no well i never got to find any fish so i guess i spooked them away i'm the only one that didn't get to see the fish okay let's keep going snack time or what whoa snacking yeah yogurt oh that looks good yeah now she's ruining it for me what is she putting i don't know oh some nuts we're on a mission to find all the colors of the fall we got red we got yellow this is still summer but oh my goodness look how beautiful yeah oh my we're gonna climb this tree ah picture time are you scared yeah a little bit so pretty crawling he's gonna lose his fan base he's gonna disappoint crawling like a little you got this yes you did it let's go how are you liking it fun you love it it was leo analog lovely views let's keep going hey it's that way to your left this way right to your right like right here look that's a really cool spot okay trust your man let's go all right guys so we made it to this point and if we want to continue we have to get wet so i don't know how cold this water is what do you think it looks pretty cold so i'm gonna change my shoes and i'm gonna see how far i can go okay i don't promise to go too far but we'll all right let me change it is cold i'm not gonna lie time to get in the water whoa this is so amazing it is cold you guys my feet are feeling numb but it's totally worth it look at the reflection of the water it really feels nice you guys like after you're in the water for a little bit you kind of like get used to it and it doesn't feel too terrible it looks kind of bad but yeah oh it's a little deeper here so here we go this is probably gonna be up to my knees i think totally worth it you guys i do not regret the pain of being cold the water was all the way up to my knees as you guys could see but it's totally worth it look at this beauty just love it well as you guys can see i'm the only one who made it through the water for my group so i'm just gonna hang out here for a little bit i'm gonna relax and enjoy this quietness and then i'm gonna head back meet them for some lunch so yes see you guys in a little bit so yay i'm back oh there it is look at it can you grab it i think we're scaring it see that's it's like a rope oh my god you gotta pet it you gotta pet it and it'll calm down it's a blue it's a world famous dangerous blue-tailed lizard is this thing called reading i made it up for this video little famous blue lizard blue tail oh i see now that's pretty release the kraken no he doesn't want to go he likes you he doesn't want to leave yeah look at that thing of beauty they're very venomous now it's comfortable it doesn't want to leave it's the world famous highly venomous blue-tailed lizard and you put it on your wife well yeah see this scar it was made by him an hour ago oh my god it's so pretty turn this way oh my god oh that's so pretty okay you're so evil whoops oh he really likes you i think you find yourself i think you find yourself a little new best friend it's your lucky day made it up here
