Sunday Mother's Day = ALL DAY Food Day!

Hey guys, it's Mike. Happy Mother's Day or what I like to call food Sunday. Today is crazy. This morning I had to try to do a couple recipe videos Which both kind of failed multiple times, which means that I ate a lot of bad failed food So I'm kind of stuffed, but today I'm also filming at this place right there It's one of the best northeastern restaurants in the city. It's a hole in the wall. No one knows about it I love those kind of restaurants This is our setup pretty simple camera there me and Lily are just gonna eat here Hey, what's up everybody? Hey, what's up everybody today? We are gonna feast on some northeastern Chinese food. This is the owner right here So nice. Thank you so much for today. It was awesome. Great meal Lily. Bye Never see that people are like usually afraid Yeah, yeah, absolutely I've got to go over to my parents house for Mother's Day dinner And I need a gift because I ran really late today's filming took a lot longer than I thought But the good thing is Chinese moms don't care about flowers at least my mom Don't I got her flowers last year and they literally died and sat in the house for about a year So just shriveled up, so I'm gonna get her something. She actually likes fruit. My mom loves Pears see if I don't find her some Korean pears. There we go Asia moms love these things little cuties little oranges Korean pears Korean pears are like pears on steroids are massive. I mean look at this They sell three to a pack and these aren't cheap. These are about seven dollars per three pears, but these are delicious Some pears some oranges mom is gonna be happy you guys ever want random glances just go into a Chinese supermarket holding a big camera Everybody's gonna be looking at you Even though moms always say don't give me anything. Don't give me anything It's a nice gesture to get your mom something for Mother's Day, and I'm lucky because my mom hates flowers, and she loves fruits So there's never like a line at a supermarket around this time. I can get her the best fruits, so let's go see mommy Should I tell my parents that I just filmed a food video, and I have no appetite at all Now let's just try to eat cuz there's nothing worse than on Mother's Day and telling an Asian mom that you already ate You're not hungry Hello It's time to it's time to speak Chinese now This is what we're having Whole fish, I think today is the most I ever had to take out my Invisalign aligners I had to do it for food tasting this morning when I try to cook How to do it at my food video and gotta do it now, so I think I'm definitely surpassing the four-hour Restriction or limit, that's how long they say you can't have the aligners out for a 24-hour cycle Definitely broke that today, and if you're wondering why my mom's in the kitchen That's what they wanted to on Mother's Day. They want to cook a meal for the family so that's what makes her happy and now we're gonna eat congee with a bunch of dishes and I'm eating for The eighth time it seems like today She doesn't want to be on my show We're gonna force her to be on the show These are leftovers from the restaurant's leftover from my mom's house What an exhausting day so today's plan was To do two recipe videos in the morning Which I did not get done because I couldn't figure out the recipes and my food didn't taste good Get a restaurant film session done and tonight. It's already 847 9 o'clock Got to do a script for beyond science, and I don't know if I can do it I'm like so exhausted. I want to do it's kind of play on some games on my iPad This is my go-to game system now I bought a DS Nintendo DS a few weeks ago because I wanted to play Pokemon, and I haven't touched it I just should not have bought that so I'm gonna sit here and play on my iPad for a while Then I'm gonna get to work Whoo what a long day anyway happy Mother's Day everybody Hope you guys had an awesome day with your mom's had a good meal on my mom's place of course I couldn't tell her that I already ate before I went over there wasn't my fault I had to do a shoot today, so it really wasn't another day I can move it to so I had to do it and now I think I have enough food for the next two weeks All right, that's all for today.
