florida weekend in my life: beach day, island hopping, pool 🐚🦀☀️🌊

Good morning you guys, what is up? Welcome back to a day in my life vlog. Today I'm going to be doing a day in my life living in Florida edition. I'm having a very Florida day I feel like and I know you guys love my Florida content, my vlogs when I'm home. It's a Saturday and I've spent the morning editing and reading and just having a nice morning with the fam. Now we're about to hop on the Peloton, do a quick little 20 minute ride and then I'm going to get ready to go to the beach with my friends and then tonight we're going to go to dinner. We're going to like come back, have that post beach, post shower situation and go to dinner. Here is my little workout OOTD. Sports bra is from Lululemon. I love spinning in like high neck sports bras, it's just super comfortable. Leggings are from Amazon, I'll link them down below. They were like 20 something dollars or 30 dollars, whatever, they're amazing. So comfortable, they're like a tan color and then I just have on some socks and these slides from Steve Madden because my spin shoes are downstairs next to the bike. All right Finley, don't miss me too much, just gonna be downstairs. You're so cute, stop it. All right, let's head down. If you guys didn't know, last summer we converted our garage because we were just never putting our cars in the garage into a gym and it's been pretty great. I mean, it's not like beautiful but I got the Peloton last year during quarantine, one of the best things I ever did. And we have this mirror here and this is all mainly my brother's. He's on a soccer team so he's always training and stuff and I don't know, my dad works out here sometimes too. I usually stick to the bike and maybe do some like core workouts here but more of a bike gal myself. Sometimes just teach myself my own class but today I'm feeling a ride. I have a couple favorite instructors and they have like different times. They have like a 15 minute ride, 20 minute ride. I'm gonna do a 15 or 20 minute ride because my friends are leaving their house soon to come over because Freddie's gonna take us on the boat to the beach which is really nice. We don't have to worry about parking. The other day when I was working out I just left my shoes in the thing so we'll see how this goes. All right, let's do this. I'd say Jess and Alex are my favorite instructors. I'm feeling Alex today. He has some good hip-hop rides so I literally will just look. Drake is involved, could be down. New tracks ride, Justin Bieber. I'm interested. Let's do this. 15 minute new tracks ride. I mean it's from December but those songs look good so I'm gonna hop on and get after it. All right, we done. Workout complete. That was a blast. Freddie's getting ready to go fishing I see. Very Florida day in my life for sure. I don't know what bikini to wear today so I literally just did a poll on my Instagram so that's why you should follow me on Instagram for all kinds of things. All right, I just showered. Feeling good post-workout. I'm just gonna show you guys what I put on my face when I go to the beach. Honestly, actually not. I'm not wearing makeup. I'm just gonna put on sunscreen. I was gonna use, I use this sometimes, the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrated Gel Cream. I believe it has, yeah, it has SPF 30 in it. I actually really like it but my face has a little bit of a glow and I have this bad habit of like when I even just put on something like that then I'm like, oh I should put on blush, oh I should do my eyebrows, and then it's just like, okay Danielle you literally just did a full face makeup so I'm just gonna not and say I did. This stuff is my life. I'll link it down below. It's the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen and then I just bought a new bottle of Sun Balm. I love the sunscreen mainly because it just smells good. Okay guys, here's a little beach OOTD. Like I said, I'm not gonna wear any makeup. Bathing suit is from Frankie's Bikinis. I haven't worn it yet so I'm really excited. I'll link it down below for you guys. Necklace is from the M Jewelers. I will also link this down below. I literally just looked up sarong on Amazon and I got a two pack, a white and a black one. It's definitely not the best quality but it works for just like summer. I don't know, sometimes I just want to like walk around in my bathing suit but I don't really want to walk around in like a whole cover-up so we love a sarong moment. Flip-flops on. I'm just gonna claw clip, bringing sunglasses, bringing my tote bag, and putting a little purse in there as well with my wallet and stuff because I think we're gonna get lunch when we get there. And I believe I mentioned this but my brother is so kind and is gonna take us to the beach on the boat which is, I'm very thankful and I know that's not an opportunity everybody gets but I'm really really thankful that he's gonna do that for us because then we don't have to worry about parking there because there's a lot of beach traffic during the summer. And I think he has some friends with him too so we're gonna like ride around and then he'll drop us off at the beach and we'll be there for a while and then I assume he'll take, hopefully he'll take us back on the boat. Hi taxi. Here we go. We're gonna head to Tate's. It's one of our favorite places on Colorado Beach to get lunch. It's at the San Perro Hotel. It's like a little staycation. Let's go! All right, lunch is served. I got a chicken quesadilla and they got chicken caesar wraps. Yeah. Setting up camp. Sunscreen first, baby. It like took us forever to even find a spot. We had to walk really far but we found a spot. About to get in. I'm vlogging very confidently right now on the beach. They won't go to the water with me so I'm going alone. The water is like a bathtub right now. The sun's starting to come down. We went to CVS, grabbed some Gatorades to stay hydrated. It's a hot one, boys. Oh my god, you got cool blue too. Kaitlyn got lemon lime, baby. We're just gonna meet up with Freddy and his friends and then get back on the boat, go home, shower. Dinner! Dinner! All right, summer fun. Oh, I feel so good. I thought I was scared it was gonna be cold. Oh, not at all. All right, time to swim. All right guys, we just got back and we showered. That post beach shower was so tan. We're so tan, I love it. It's like, ew. We are heading to breakfast. We had a lovely evening. Gonna grab some breakfast and then they are headed off to their days. And then I think I'm gonna take Finley for a walk with my fam and just have a day. Let's have a day. It's Sunday and it's fogging up again because Florida is so humid. Sunday fun day. Bacon cheddar omelet. Let's get after it, boys. Just took Finley for a walk. I mean, I power walked, but I'm sweating. It is so hot out today, but that's what I love about being home. I just feel like I'm outside more. I'm more active. So it was definitely a good workout for today. I'm glistening. I got some shoes from Zara that I wanted for my New York trip and they were sold out in my size and then I checked again and they had them. So I bought them because I'm obsessed with green right now and I love the look of heels with jeans. It's so fun and even this with like a sun dress. Like look how cute these are. A little square toe moment and I don't like high heels. I don't like walking in them. They're just not comfortable. Unless they're comfortable. I need comfortable heels and these look really comfortable. Little kitten heels, but I love like the puffy green. So beautiful. So cute. Perfect for summer. I'll link them below. Green shoes. No one ever knows. No one needs to know. Headed outside to drink the juice. Gosh I just love green juices. They're just so important to the world. It's like literally drinking a whole salad. Me and Finley are about to tan. We just put his tanning oil on. Right Fin? Right Fin? Everyone went inside to shower. I'm gonna cook dinner with my mom later but I'm still enjoying it outside. I just jumped in the pool again. I'm gonna read a little bit. I'm almost halfway into Wish You Were Here by Renee Carlino. It's really good so far. It's super romance-y. That's my style. I either like self-help motivational books or romance novels so a little bit of both. I do like mysteries. I heard when we used to play with mermaids is good or something when we liked mermaid something like that. I enjoy this and it takes me into another world. I'm just soaking up the summer sun so yeah. Outfit of the night. I wanted to try these shoes on so I think I'm gonna cook in them a little bit. Just see they're so comfy in the front. I'm just curious to see how they are in the back. I'm wearing my 813 t-shirt. It's got a ton of fun Tampa spots. My face is getting so tan. My mom and I are cooking her famous chili. It's literally the recipe on the back of Bush's chili beans cans but it's delicious and I made it at school if you guys remember from those vlogs. We've got the country music going. Finley's just about dry. Finley is just about dry. I'm assuming I'm on onion cutting duty. All right let's get after it. This part might just be my favorite. Just cooking the onion, celery, and garlic all together. It smells amazing. Dinner is served. On June 10th, not everything. Well you guys that is a wrap for this weekend in my life Floridian edition. It was gonna be just a day in my life but then I was like today is a fun day too so why not just make it a little longer. I just got off FaceTime with my boyfriend. We're long distance right now so you know a little FaceTime date and I'm gonna head to bed. It's 11 o'clock. I'm gonna read more of my book I was telling you guys about later or later earlier and that's a wrap.
