Hi guys, welcome back to my channel.
Today I have a haul for you.
It is an in the style haul, which I haven't done in so long.
I think one of the last ones,
or maybe the only ones I've ever done
is the collaboration with Sarah Ashcroft,
which is when she like first collaborated.
It's one of my old videos.
I'll link it just for the fun of it.
If you did want to watch it, it's an old one.
So it's very different to the format
and the way that I do it now.
Today is the Lorna Lux range.
I know she's brought out a few new bits this week.
So I put in an order of which I cannot wait to try it.
I've been wanting to try the Lorna Lux range
and I'm going to try and whiz through these
and just show you, not blabber too much.
I'll link them all below
if you did want to shop any of the items yourself.
And before I do jump into the haul,
I would really, really appreciate it if you subscribed.
If you are new to my channel, grab yourselves a cuppa,
get comfy, get cozy, and let's open up this package.
So this is like a bit of a first impressions as well
because I've not opened anything yet.
Oh God, if you are new to my channel,
I'm just going to give you a quick kind of warning,
precursor to what's coming up.
It's all very neutral, which is very me,
but a lot of these styles actually come
in different color varieties.
Just bear that in mind.
Another thing I did want to note as well with this
is that I haven't actually paid for any of these items yet.
What I did is use the Klarna payment system,
which essentially means that you try before you buy.
So I put in this order and then anything
that I keep, I will pay for.
So they send you an invoice after like 30 days
or something of which you pay for the items
that you end up keeping.
Anything that you want to return,
you simply do using the free returns
that in this style include with the little slip.
So I have two coords of which I'll show you
the items together just because they pair up
and match together quite nicely.
So the first one is this knit coord,
which comes in a cream as well,
but I went for the like camel nude kind of color.
So I went for the skirt in a size eight
because they had sold out of 10s,
but then they did have a 10 in the top version.
So I picked this up.
So it's like a knit coord that you can
easily wear as separates.
That's why I love coords because they are so versatile.
You have so many different outfits with just two pieces
and it does come with a waist belt, this one as well.
So it can be worn like slightly off shoulder,
a bit more slouchy.
And then the next coord that I have is
in a like darker camel tan kind of color.
And then again, sizing,
there was a little like slim pickings
in terms of the blazer.
So I went with a 14 because I wanted it more oversized
and the bottoms I got in a size 10, true to size.
If they hadn't had a 10 in the bottoms,
I wouldn't have bothered getting the coord,
but I feel like with a blazer,
you can easily size up and get away with it
as more of an oversized fit.
So this is what the pants look like.
A nice like cigarette style trouser, very simple, minimal.
There's not much hardware or in fact,
there's no hardware at all.
The only way you can get into this is with a zip
on the side so it's concealed, which is quite nice.
And then I have a dress, a jumper
and quite a few bits from this range.
So it was some coords, tops and dresses there.
So first of all, I'm just gonna show you these two.
The jumper actually reminded me very much
of the Sarah Ashcroft collab.
And I feel like she has similar options available
if this one isn't for you.
But I do also think there was a different color variation
in this jumper as well.
So I got it in a size 10.
It's nice and high neck and it's slightly balloon sleeves.
And obviously you guys know how much I love my creams
and my beiges.
So to combine the two in a jumper like this,
which is unlike anything I already have,
I thought was quite unique.
I'd probably style this just simply tucked
into high-waisted jeans.
Very comfy, very casual and just like an everyday outfit.
Okay, so I did pick up a dress which is a little out there.
It's very Lorna Luxe style.
Let's just put it that way with the big sleeve details.
Again, I went for the nude,
but I think they had different color varieties available.
I think they've got it in black as well actually.
So this is what it looks like from the front.
Sleeve details are that stereotypical Lorna Luxe
puffy sleeve, which I love.
And it kind of slims down a little bit towards the cuff.
And then the main bodice part of the skirt looks like so.
So it's nice and ruched.
I'm not sure how this style is gonna suit my body shape.
I feel like this would be a good style
for someone who is a bit more straight up and down,
gives you a bit of curves in all the right areas.
With this little frill detail,
I feel like it might make my legs look a little shorter
than I'd like.
There is a little bit of pulls here,
but I mean, you can just get rid of it nice and easily.
So quality wise, it's not the best.
I'm not gonna lie.
It's stereotypical in the style.
It's not high end designer fabrics and qualities,
but with the price point, the way that it is,
it is something that is more affordable to the mass market
as opposed to more high end.
Also watch out for the sales.
They quite often run sales.
I got all of these when it was 30% off
with the code CELEB30.
If that's still available, then obviously use that.
But you can just log online and see what codes
and what offers they're running at the time.
But yeah, when you've got a big chunk of money off,
like that 30% off, I think I ended up saving about 70 pounds.
So it makes all the difference in my opinion.
Okay, then lastly, moving on to this design,
which is one of the originals that she brought out
in like a blue color, which is gorgeous.
Since she brought out a nude variety,
then that is when I jumped on the bandwagon
and pretty much bought every item from the range.
Yeah, this one's a dress.
In a size 10, I picked this one up.
That, oh, I held it like that
and I thought, no way is that a dress.
But I was holding it wrong.
That scared me.
I was like, that is not a dress.
That's far too short.
It is still a mini dress nonetheless.
But high neck detail,
which ties with a little bow around the back.
And then nice little sleeve ruching there.
So it's not the stereotypical puffy sleeve,
but it does have the ruching there around your arm.
And it also has like a ruching paneling down the middle
and along the bottom, again, with this hem,
which is not stereotypical for a style that I would go for.
But I'm gonna give it a try and see how it looks.
And who knows, I might be converted.
Again, that open back detail, it's just a nice detail.
If you're not showing your collarbones,
everything's like high neck with an open back.
I really like that.
I guess you have to be brave enough
to go braless with a lot of these items.
So maybe if you're bigger chested,
it might not work so well for you.
This is the next one.
This is, I feel like, far more up my street.
It's quite thin on the front or the top half.
The bottom half here from the waist down
is double lined, so it is thicker.
But I do feel like this might be a little sheer.
I guess the pattern kind of makes it less sheer.
But it's very simple, not quite as high neck,
and it still has that tie detail and open back
and ruching along the bum area and hip area
with that same hem detail.
But this one does have slightly more accentuated,
puffy shoulder details.
Okay, so what I have now are three items left,
and these are all tops.
There is a coordinating skirt for these,
but it is a mini skirt.
And I very rarely wear mini skirts,
so I thought I would pair these tops more
and style them up how I would
with probably high-waisted jeans.
I'll link the skirt.
But these are the three tops from the range
that I chose just to show you.
And again, intention is not to keep all of these.
I wanna try them on, see which one suits my style,
and just keep my favorite.
So this first one is in a size 10.
It is that same fabric.
And again, this one feels a little thicker.
It's got more of a lining to it.
Puffy detailed sleeves as before.
But then this one is lower at the front,
so there's no open back on this,
and it's like a wrap top.
I feel like this one is gonna be a style
that I will end up keeping.
Let me know your feedback as well on the try-on clips,
which ones you think looks best
and which ones you think I should keep.
Okay, so this next one is again in a size 10.
This one has that same high neck detail here.
And unlike the other items,
it has a couple of little pearl buttons
to tie around the neck.
So I really like that detail.
It's quite Parisian, this sort of style of top.
Long sleeves without the puffy accentuated shoulder.
And it does have a cuff, again,
with the little pearl buttons.
So I feel like this one could be a little dressier.
It has this waistband detail here
with the tie detail around the back.
So obviously this is gonna be far easier
to see what it looks like on.
But again, I'm a fan of this one.
I might end up keeping more of the tops
and less of the dresses.
And last but not least, we have this top,
which is high neck, little more simple on the detail,
the fringing at the top with the little pearl button again.
Keyhole detail at the back.
It does have the puffy sleeves again.
These ones are shorter
and they have a little ruching as well,
which helps accentuate the puffy sleeve detail.
But something that I can be a little fussy with
is if this is too tight around my arm.
It's like I feel claustrophobic.
Feels like I'm having a blood test,
which is like my biggest fear.
And even just talking about it, I can't.
But just being like tight around my arm,
I can't deal with.
So if it falls nicely, I'll keep it.
Otherwise, it's one of those things
that will just go straight back
without even questioning it, even if it looks nice.
So this one has a tight wraparound detail around the waist,
but it does zip up the back.
So this is purely for detail.
This doesn't hold you in.
It can wrap around several times.
You can tie it at the front,
tie it at the back, however you want.
But that is purely for show.
So that is everything that I picked up
from the Lorna Luxe range this time around.
I know, like I said,
she has brought out some more pieces recently,
which I couldn't get my hands on in my size.
So I may be refreshing that page
just to see when they are restocked in my size.
There's definitely more I could have got to try on.
I'm gonna do all the try-on clips,
which you'll have already seen.
And thank you so much for watching.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Thumbs up if you did.
And I will see you next time.
Bye, guys.
