May Garden Tour
A few days late to the monthly garden tour party, my bad! May was a fun month and a lot changed in the garden since the last garden tour back in March. Had a huge delivery of massive houseplants and tropical plants, planted tons of summer annuals and have been repotting houseplants like a fiend! I just got started moving and placing the houseplants and tropical plants around the garden and patio as they were only moved outside about 10 days ago. The white bird of paradise have new locations and are looking great. I also moved the large variegated monstera into a spot where it will be visible. I framed the area with aucubas and a few stromanthe triostar to highlight the dark shade and it is looking wonderful! Overall I spent a lot of time talking about what has been done and some plans for the garden. A big dent has been made with all of the materials from the last month's multiple plant hauls and plant shopping videos, but there is still a lot of to be done and I am looking forward to it! Dahlias, Caladiums, Zinnias, plants for cut flower garden and annual foliage, all about to get planted. yay!
