This morning me and Mark are heading to the floating markets.
I imagine we're floating on boats and not just, you know, whaling on some flotation, random circly flotation devices.
I'm trying to film the circly dumpling video of floating market, not fish market, floating market with Mark and we're just
This is really crazy. Look at this.
So we got our food here and we got our cameras there and there's just flies everywhere because right, it's summer
We're by a river. We have a bunch of fish in front of us, and it's just so much
flies everywhere on our food. So we're gonna have to eat. Don't suck on the shell, Mark.
Okay, don't suck on the shell. And these are our chefs over here
Right in front of us. The boats. This is so cool. Great experience, but I gotta be careful what I'm eating.
I mean this
We're basically done with the floating market video, but
I gotta have some more before I leave.
I'd really hate it myself if I left this market without a final bite of these deliciously cheesy scallops
And I just got a tin, waiting for a place where I can just kind of be by myself and shove them down.
So good
So so good
Good morning, so excited. I'm about to go get a sundae. This is not just any typical sundae. I saw this on Facebook
It's like a massive
Giant mother-of-all-sundaes. 22 scoops of ice cream with like countless toppings inside.
I'm gonna go check it out. I actually really love thunderstorms. One, because well
I love thunderstorms, and two, it cools the whole place down.
I'm at Seaham Center, and it's raining, but check this out. They set up this little rainy walk-away thing.
I like rain. I just don't want to be drenched by it.
I like the presence of it when I'm watching a movie and eating some food or napping.
Cool. Step in, get trapped, and take a photo. All right, let's do it.
I feel like I feel like I'm being swallowed by an octopus.
I seriously have lost my sense of direction.
Now I just kind of want to snuggle up and camp out here because it's just so much work to get in here.
Oh, actually, I can just get out like this.
That was not nearly as fun as I thought.
Hey, Michelle.
It's just all food. This is my floor. I belong on this floor.
Wow, this is so pretty.
Flower pot cake.
Look how pretty this is.
What?
Just finished filming the ice cream video, and I feel like I'm getting like flashbacks to the last time I took an ice cream
challenge, and
now I
have to go and set up my next video, which is going to be a fruit buffet.
I tried calling. As soon as I said,
do you speak English?
Because they asked if I wanted English menu, and I selected the English menu, and as soon as I asked, do you speak English?
They clicked. They hung up on me.
So I actually have to go there and make sure I can get a spot so I can eat at this fruit buffet.
One thing I came to know is that regular taxis in Bangkok is kind of crazy.
And what you want to do is avoid getting into cabs. Like I've been in the cabs a few times where they just quote me
a price. They're like, oh, you want to go here? 300. And I know it should never cost that much.
So if they quote you something and they don't just turn on the meter, get out of the cab.
What's great is that there's Uber here. So I'm actually riding Uber for the first time.
Whoa, this watermelon looks like a swaddle of a lot of other fruits.
That's the prettiest watermelon I've ever seen.
With my fruit buffet ticket, I get a ticket to the observation deck.
Oh, the view is nice from up here.
Welcome to Bangkok.
Revolving viewpoint.
I feel like I'm going into space. And what the heck is up with that guy?
He's actually moving.
Oh, man, I got to hop on.
Wow, check that out.
This is so incredibly cool.
Welcome to Bangkok.
And I love it when I don't have to move.
And, you know, I'm still getting to enjoy the view.
That's like the best.
This is great because I feel full and I feel like I've accomplished something
because I am moving, although I am not physically moving, if you know what I mean.
That's it. Another long, food-filled day.
I'm happy.
Good night.
