John Gildon (fl. 1800-1819)

English composer. Nothing is known about his life. He was active as a musician in London where he published several works, among them 'Three Divertimentos for the Piano Forte with an accompaniment (ad libitum) for a German Flute, in which are interspersed characteristic airs', 'Six Duettos, for Juvenile Performers on the Piano Forte [consisting of favorite airs]' and 'Romance and Rondo 'Le Sansonnet affranchi'. #ClassicalMusic
