Sampson State Park - New York Finger Lakes Region | ZEPHYR TRAVELS - RV Lifestyle
This week we are back in the Airstream as we visit the New York Finger Lakes Region and stop at Sampson State Park. Sampson is the site of a WWII Navel training base and then during the Korean war, it was repurpose as an Air Force training base. Over 700,000 sailors and airman attended basic training at this base in preparation to being set to war.
We explore the parks rich history and pay our respects to the many men and women that served our country.
It been a while since we last camped in the Airstream, a lot has changed since we left Florida in March. This week we hitch up the Airstream again and find out what it is like to camp during a pandemic. We have our masks packed and Monty and Zephyr are in the truck!
