Pierre Thomas Dufour
(c.1721 - Paris?, 30 December 1786)

French organist and composer. Almost nothing is known about his life. The only extant work, a set of harpsichord pieces entitled "Pièces de Clavecin Composées par Mr. Dufour Organiste de St. Jean en Grève et de St. Laurent &c., œuvre I (c.1770)", described him as organist of the Saint-Jean en Grève church, destroyed between 1797 and 1800, and also of the Saint-Laurent church, both in Paris. He probably wrote more works, but all of them are currently lost. #ClassicalMusic
