Milan 3 x 2 Inter ● Serie A 2003_04 Extended Goals & Highlights HD.

Alberto Zaccheroni former coach of Milan winner of the 1998-99 Scudetto the sixteenth in Rossoneri history He has since during his professional career sat on the bench of Inter Milan-Inter at Milan-San Siro February 21 2004 much of the pre-match was dedicated by the Curva Sud and the Rossoneri fans for the commemoration of the figure of Marco Pantani because at the moment of the kick-off of possession The Inter-Inter match which is a disadvantaged team in this derby but Milan must break a taboo Indeed Paolo Maldini was absent from San Siro but Inzaghi Kakà and Shevchenko scored goals and Martins added a goal in the final moments as we mentioned a moment ago Attention Shevchenko Shevchenko in the penalty area of the Azzurra tries to reach Kaká but there is an intervention by Cordoba And the ball Manuel Rui Costa swaying with his class passes to the right to Cafu Cafu goes for the cross Shevchenko heads the ball Alessandro Costacurta's attempt He has inherited the captain's armband for this derby for this match from Paolo Maldini In the previous season first attention to Kaká's shot the ball goes out Milan knocks on the door of the Azzurra In the previous season the 2002-2003 season Costacurta had to make another important substitution in a derby The team's defensive play as you can see in these images Kakà Kakà with his number 22 charges towards the opponent's penalty area Seedorf Kakà a great opportunity Toldo's parade a huge Milanese opportunity Toldo protests towards Rosetti's assistant He had asked for an offside but it honestly looked legitimate Farinos the Milan fans wanted it at all costs Danetti plays a long ball Vieri gets free very well Vieri advances puts the ball into the box the Inter attempts a clearance Another intervention by referee Rosetti Adriano gets up that was a strong Valencia team in those years The team that had many players the 2000 and 2001 editions which lost two Champions League finals one against Real Madrid and one against Bayern Munich A derby attention the Inter cross the ball headed by Adriano hard fight the derby that hasn't taken off yet Here is Stankovic's cross the ball goes into the net no one touches it and it goes into the net incredible A surprise Inter is in the lead Caviezzanetti celebrates there is also a card shown by referee Rosetti Milan is stunned Stankovic celebrates with satisfaction and joy The derby games also go in favor of the underdog team for certain incidents moments and crossroads within the atmosphere of Milan on the field But with a Milan-Inter derby on the calendar so with Milan at home they tried to jump very high and are still protesting in the Coppa Italia semifinals Attention Pirlo who passes to Shevchenko he tried to get to the ball first and he did Sheva went to arch towards the ball Excellent cross the shot on goal went to the second post as unfortunately happened against Milan in the first half of the derby on February 21 2004 Seedorf's shot a very dangerous finish warmed up Clarence Seedorf a save Zanetti hit Rui Costa not once Rui Costa says but how do you protest against this foul a shot by Gattuso a shot that we could say from a strictly stylistic and academic point of view is unrefined With its Argentine captain organizing the Rossoneri's defense here comes the cross the header and the save by Nelson Dida Between them but Rui Costa is working hard here comes the advance by the Rossoneri with Cafu edge of the penalty area A great opportunity the Toldo parade this is the first real big chance for Milan to score Adani flails a bit either towards the assistant or his teammates But there was no offside Cafu was in a perfectly legal position Rui Costa was short the ball was played to the right Milan has to account for every inch of the field every ball with the challenges brought to the ball by Scelva watching the goal Andri starts The shot Toldo's save 4 so far the only goal of the derby was scored by Stankovic Inter advance they ask for Zanetti's handball The Rossoneri have the chance but referee Rossetti lets play on Zanetti crosses into the box there's a deflection then a shot by the Rossonera the post hit by Adriano or a header by the Rossoneri Inter insists the long shot and the ball here comes Stankovic after the corner kick there is Dida's exit the ball kicked by Cristiano Zanetti A corner kick an own goal Cristiano Zanetti scores at Braccia from his teammates from his stand captain Maldini the Rossoneri team went down twice due to incidents But there was a mistake from behind here damaging Riccardo Cacca a shot against Cordoba the derby and basically these are things that can happen in derbies It can be compared to that of November 1999 a tense interval the Milan president asks Granvolo for Gattuso Gattuso is attacked he tries to pass it in Andriy Shevchenko controls the ball and passes it to Seedorf Seedorf takes another shot high and Milan as it had done in the first half struggles a bit And then the counterattack from the black and blue side and then Adriano's ball Dida slips incredible high incredible a crazy move an action that seemed completely under control It became the near 3-0 goal for Inter let's review the kick from behind Adriano in an offside position Costa short passes the ball but seems to be in control of Dida But Dida slipped in fact that ball Dida slipped several players are slipping we saw it even at the start of the second half in the humid and rainy Milan derby evening Let's see if the team manages to get a favorable decision to recover Kaká taken down there's a free kick after being very dominant Good play with intelligence from Kaladze to Seedorf Seedorf tries to break through reach the area a backheel great move by Milan persistent Kaladze gets the deflection by Toldo Milan Cafu goes to the right here is Cafu's cross the header again the ball recovered by Seedorf Seedorf takes the shot the save by Toldo Tomasson the goal for Milan AC Milan returns to the game tenth minute of the second half John Dal Tomasson 1-0 for the Rossoneri in the second half but the match is clearly 2-1 for Inter Inter leads 2-0 at halftime Milan leads 1-0 in the second half Inter loses the ball badly now with Farinose Kaká starts Kaká attacks Kaká in the middle of three they let him go Kaká Mirino Gol come Top Gun Kakà puts it on Toldo's left 2-2 in two minutes 2-2 it's another game the one we told you about in the first half is forgotten Now it's a whole different game watch out Adriano tightly marked Kakà Kakà who had also scored in the first derby Kakà has always been a derby man in his Milan years Even in his last derby the same thing Carlo would have said it a couple of seasons later to Sergio Claudio Shevchenko took the ball from Thomasson tried to go around Kakà meanwhile Thomasson calmed Cordoba tried to take the ball from Kakà not to hurt the opponents here we see There is a Milan that is producing a Milan at full speed still Kakà Kakà is leaving Javier Zanetti is skipped Kakà enters for Shevchenko who falls to the ground then also Kakà falls to the ground but Rosetti had already blown the whistle Cristiano Zanetti even protested the foul on Kaká but Kaká had simply recovered the ball as the replay does not even start from there Who Shevchenko on the ground Kakà on the ground the Inter barrier comes back Andrea Pirlo the jungle of wingers pushes Cafu tries to get back in Kakà the ball doesn't go rather Kaladze the ball doesn't go Two Milan players were free on the other side of the penalty area second ball covered by Milan shot by Shevchenko Inter sacrificing themselves Inter trying to resist at this moment We were at risk of being attacked two against two but Clarence Edorf recovered well his sacrifice helped balance Milan's tactical plan on this Inter move But the Roma-Milan Scudetto on January 6 2004 the Roma said what does Milan want to do with Cafu and Pancaro a month before this derby after January 2004 In the 81st minute nine minutes left in the game the score is still 0-0 Pancaro's goal decided everything again Milan with Kakà but this time the ball goes out meanwhile it's nice to see a derby from the late 90s where Inter was the favorite Beppe Bergomi also said that even though we are leading the league I know Maldini and Costacurta and I know that in derby matches nothing is ever certain or decisive In fact Maldini and Costacurta had the right approach in derbies they knew how to face them with aggression but never missing an opportunity Accelera Riccardino here's Riccardino in the middle Riccardino defends the ball and then the bounce and this is one of the most beautiful images from Kakà's first year in red here it is this is wonderful
