Plant Haul! Unboxing Plants from Plant Delights Nursery | Hardy Gingers | Special Hosta & Perennials
Unboxing some fun plants from plant delights nursery. In the plant haul I've gotten some fun new cold hardy gingers. The zingiber mioga are excellent gingers to grow in zone 6 and they have beautiful variegation. I am excited about the new lavender that should be good for hot and wet climates as well as the wine cups which the pollinators will love. The last plant I got was a very special and unique variegated plant that doesn't produce well in tissue culture and is slow to produce off shoot to use for division, so it was an expensive plant. The Time Traveler hosta has a gorgeous contrast in it's foliage and I cannot wait to see this one grow! I don't normally go for the ultra rare plants or do rare plant unboxings, or rare plant hauls, but since the hosta is so slow growing and is not an expensive plant due to being a trendy plant, I don't feel bad about it.
