And guys, it's important to mention William Saliba is one of the players who are performing at the best level in his position as centre-back in this beginning of the 2022-2023 season. He's doing incredible with Arsenal, Arsenal in general doing fantastic thanks to the great job of the board, Edu Gaspar, the manager, Mikel Arteta, the players of course, so we can feel how they are happy together. The players, the fans, the board, the manager, great atmosphere around the club, great atmosphere around the team, but this player is giving something special. Top centre-back, he's a player who can be one of the best in the game in the next years as, for example, a former incredible Arsenal player like Cesc Fabregas mentioned after the game with Tottenham, he said he can be an incredible top player for the next 15-20 years and I agree with him in saying that William Saliba is something special. Since a long time, I say since a long time because when he was at Saint-Étienne and when he was at Marseille also last season alone, he was incredible. I know many people are not so used to watch Ligue 1 but Saliba with Marseille was the best player of the team, was absolutely incredible. If Marseille are playing Champions League football this season, it's also thanks to the great job of William Saliba as centre-back. So, his growth is absolutely consistent, it's absolutely regular and this is why I think Saliba owns a mention as one of the best players around. Let me mention Arsenal because they paid 30 millions when he was 19 to sign him from Saint-Étienne. There were foreign clubs and also European clubs tracking him but Arsenal decided to invest serious money, 30 million euros on a player who was going to experience a new life in Premier League, who needed two years on loan to be ready for Arsenal level but the process around William Saliba was incredible and I think that 30 million are now something unbelievable to think about William Saliba because probably his value today could be around 60, 70, 80 million euros and I'm not sure that Arsenal would sell William Saliba for 60 or 70 million because during the summer, in August, Olympique Marseille wanted to try something special for William Saliba. Let me say that the feeling between Saliba and Marseille has always been great. He loves the city, he loves the club as he loves Arsenal but he was very happy on loan at Marseille and so this is why Olympique Marseille tried to tempt Arsenal, had a meeting with the agent of the player and tried to tempt Arsenal to make an official bid to sign him on permanent deal for Arsenal. There was absolutely no discussion, it was not even a negotiation, it was not about the price. Arsenal said the player is untouchable, Edu Arteta, they wanted to continue with Saliba. Saliba was delighted with this Arsenal position because he's really happy with Arsenal as he always mentioned he loves Arsenal atmosphere, Arsenal energy and Arsenal project too and so this is why nothing happened with Marseille but they tried, they were prepared to pay big money for on Arsenal side and also there were other clubs interested in Saliba. Let me mention AC Milan because they wanted to sign Bothman as priority at centre-back but Saliba was a player that was in Milan list and then it was impossible to negotiate. Someone said that this summer Milan tried for a loan with by option, not true. Milan never negotiated for Saliba during the last three four months because they knew that he was untouchable for Arsenal. This something that happened two years ago but it was not the case with Arsenal to sign Saliba because for Arsenal he was untouchable for the future project and Barcelona. Let me mention Barcelona because William Saliba was one of the players they wanted in case the Kounde deal was not going through. Kounde has always been the main priority for Barcelona, the obsession of Xavi Hernandez as I mentioned many times here and they signed Kounde but in the list of Barcelona they were prepared to make a proposal for Saliba in case the Kounde deal was not going through. They are super happy with Kounde but let me say that I feel that also in that case Barcelona never made a proposal for Saliba but he was one of the names they had in the list but I feel that also in that case for Arsenal it was impossible to negotiate because they wanted to trust Saliba, they wanted to keep Saliba, they wanted Saliba to be one of the faces of the new project and so this is the case. Saliba is untouchable for Arsenal and and so guys let me know how do you rate this player William Saliba, how do you feel about this top centre-back?
