Balthasar (Antel) Villicus [Vilicus; Wilicus]
(1663 - December 1731)
Czech violinist and composer. Almost nothing is known about his life. The only reference is regarding his post as concertmaster in Warsaw at the Saxon Court of the Kingdom of Poland (1729). As a composer, his extant works are mainly sacred, among them a Miserere, but he also wrote a flute concerto (c.1720). #ClassicalMusic
