Xi Jinping knows severity of the financial corruption in China. At the 19th National Congress in 2017, the CCP made preventing and dissolving financial disasters its number one priority for the next three years.
On September 26, the CCP's Central Commission for Discipline Inspection kicked off a 3 to 4 month-long "inspection" of 19 major Chinese banks, the 4 regulatory agencies, and Chinese stock exchanges. Two days before that, police detained the HNA Group’s founder and Chairman, Chen Feng and its CEO in the middle of HNA bankruptcy reorganization.
