Being the rock legend that he is, Mick Jagger has earned himself a portfolio of properties
to go with his success.
Whether it's his new mansion in Florida, his beachfront getaway in the Caribbean, or
his stunning castle in France, the man knows how to live in style.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Mick Jagger is probably the most famous rock star in the world.
This English singer, songwriter and all around badass grandpa has been performing as the
lead singer for the Rolling Stones since the band first started way back when in the early
60s.
Since then, the group has gone on to become one of the biggest bands of all time and defining
the genre of rock and roll on their way to selling over 200 million records.
And unlike most other musical acts that got their start over half a century ago, these
guys are still performing today and often earning a truly staggering sum for doing so.
For instance, back in 2018 during what was only a 14 performance tour, the Stones were
said to have pocketed as much as 117 million dollars.
Considering that, Jagger has earned himself a net worth estimated to be in the ballpark
of around 500 million, some of which he's used to buy his gorgeous homes.
This includes his beachfront property located on the private island of Mystique, and the
unbelievably ritzy castle he owns in the south of France where he's spent the pandemic
hiding out.
Not to mention Mick is still buying new homes, like a 2 million dollar mansion in Florida
that he picked up as a gift for his partner Melanie Hamrick just last year.
Hey guys, it's Kara, back with another exclusive house tour here on Famous Entertainment, and
in this one, we're checking out the homes of the god of rock and roll himself, Mick
Jagger.

Now let's get into this video.
The year is 1983, and the Stones have just celebrated their 20th anniversary by touring
Europe for the first time in nearly 6 years.
That summer, Jagger met an architect named Arnie Hasselwurst, who he then hired to build
him a custom private designed compound on the private West Indies island of Mystique.
Inspired with an eye for Japanese design, Mick's home has since been dubbed Star Groves
and overlooks the picturesque L'Ansicoy Bay.
Instead of one large main home, the compound is made of several separate pavilions that
are almost all connected to each other by raised wooden walkways built over top of a
peaceful brook.
In total, the compound is said to boast 6 bedrooms as well as 5 bathrooms, at the center
of which is a 25 foot large swimming pool and patio combo that provides plenty of space
to sunbathe or hang out.
There's also a gazebo and lounge that provides a spot for some shaded relaxation.
Both the living and dining pavilions open out to a couple of amazing beachside sun decks.
Then, there's the entertainment pavilion, which offers a huge piano and a game room
with a media lounge, as well as a billiards table made out of some bold coral pink felt
that's the exact same color as the walls.
Meanwhile, Mick's master suite occupies the entirety of its own beachside villa and
offers him, or whoever's staying there, not only a private sitting area, but a classy
ensuite bathroom as well.
Then, in the nearby guest villa, this space offers up 2 more bedrooms alongside a shared
bathroom.
As for any kids that might be visiting, well, they'll have a pavilion all their own that
boasts 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a central sitting room, a small kitchen, and an oceanside
veranda.
Since first buying the property in the early 80s, Mick has spent so much time here that
he's ready to start sharing the experience with others, having recently placed this property
on the market to be rented by any interested parties for a little island getaway.
Just be prepared to pay a lot.
In fact, during low season, you might have to shell out as much as $16,000 a week, but
during high season, that number shoots all the way up to nearly $30,000.
Of course, renters are also provided access to a jeep that they can use to get around
the island, and they're pampered all week long by a staff of 6 that includes a chef
that specializes in French and Moroccan cuisine.
Mick also owns another property on the island that he rents at a cheaper price, but for
this 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom villa, well, he still expects you to shell out around $6,000
to $11,000 a week.
Better start saving now.
When he's not living it up in the tropics, Mick has a ton of other international spots
to choose from.
One where he spends a lot of his time at is the 16th century castle located in the south
of France.
Known locally as La Fourchette and situated in the tiny village of Possès-sur-Cisse,
the home was originally owned by King Louis' finance minister.
Built upon 20 hectares of land, Mick bought the home after visiting with his then wife
Geri Hall in 1982.
At the time, he paid a pretty astounding 2.2 million pounds for the place, which would
be the equivalent of around 7 million pounds today.
Since buying the place, Mick spends as much of his free time here as possible.
Not only has he recorded multiple Rolling Stones albums nearby, but he's also used
it to host get togethers with friends like David Bowie, Tina Turner and Paul McCartney.
Beyond choosing this home as the location to celebrate his 70th birthday, Mick would
also decide to quarantine here during the worldwide pandemic.
While waiting on the world to open back up again, Mick could be found fixing up his property,
mountain biking and fishing nearby, as he demonstrated for Jimmy Fallon during a public
service announcement vignette.
But outside of that little tease he gave to Jimmy, Mick keeps the majority of this home's
details on the down low.
Of course, Mick does have some homes that are a bit more practical too.
Take for instance, his most recent real estate purchase, a 1.98 million dollar, 4 bedroom,
6 bathroom home on Florida's west coast.
Located in a housing development situated between Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida – a
quiet area that's less about hustle and bustle and more focused on security – this
Tuscan themed gated community has been praised in the past for its privacy.
In fact, Mick and his young partner Melanie apparently decided on purchasing the home
without even having seen it.
After taking a virtual tour of the place, Mick decided to buy it as a Christmas present
for Melanie, because her parents reportedly live nearby.
The sprawling property was built in 2008 and clocks in at around 5,726 square feet.
The exterior of the home offers up some classic Mediterranean vibes, while the interior is
a little more formal in nature.
Inside, architectural details include a dramatic coffered ceiling that stretches across an
epic sized living room.
Located on that same level is a gorgeous breakfast room that's no doubt ideal for a few low-key
meals.
But as nice as that is, it's got nothing on the nearby gourmet kitchen.
Full of state of the art appliances, including an impressive cooking range with double ovens
as well as a massive refrigerator, those dark cabinets also help give the space an
elegant feel.
Now, in terms of the property's 4 bedrooms, each of them comes with its own en-suite bathroom.
The master suite is situated in its very own wing, complete with a summer kitchen, fireplace
and a separate stairwell that gives access to the main level of the house.
The nearby en-suite boasts an oversized walk-in rain shower, a soaking tub, and a custom built
walk-in closet.
Question is, who has more clothes, Mick or Melanie?
I guess with this amount of space, the answer doesn't really matter all that much.
Of course, this being Florida and all, the home also boasts some ideal areas for soaking
in the warm weather.
Not only is there a large pool perfect for cooling off on hot days, but there's also
a wood burning fireplace for those cooler winter nights.
So there you have it, an inside peek at a few of the homes of rock and roll legend Mick
Jagger, which brings this video to an end.
After this house tour, which one of his properties would you most like to spend your free time
in?
I have a feeling that a lot of you are going to choose that ridiculously expensive private
island, but for me, I gotta say, it's the French Castle.
That's more my style.
