In 2021, Suzanne Somers officially found a buyer for her sprawling 8.5 million dollar
estate in Palm Springs.
She and her longtime husband, Alan Hamill, have owned the stunning 28-acre property for
over 40 years, and it's comprised of 4 separate villas along with a main house.
The compound boasts features like a dramatic dressing room, outdoor shower, waterfall-fed
pond, an amphitheater made of rocks, and more.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of
Suzanne Somers is an actress, author, businesswoman and health advocate who was well known for
her role as Chrissy on the TV series 3's Company.
Aside from her acting, Suzanne would be a successful author of multiple books which
included a series of self-help books, 2 autobiographies, diet books and more.
She's been with her husband, producer Alan Hamill for about 50 years, and they were married
in 1977, while she claims their marriage is still as amazing as ever.
The couple has also amassed a net worth estimated at over 100 million dollars, which has earned
them some beautiful California homes over the years.
Suzanne and Alan just recently sold their beautiful Palm Springs compound, which they've
owned since they were newlyweds, and they said they plan to move to a SEXY new home
nearby.
The couple is reportedly turning their next luxury property into an eco-friendly oasis.
Not to mention, they also have a place in Malibu.
In 2017, Suzanne gave a tour of the beachside home 10 years after a fire destroyed her former
home in the same location.

And now let's get into this video.
In 2021, Suzanne and Alan finally found a buyer for their longtime compound in Palm
Springs.
They listed it for 8.5 million dollars in January 2021 after attempting to sell it a
few times over the years, once in 2013 and a few years before that as well.
Suzanne's village-like compound is situated on a hillside in the Mesa neighborhood, just
south of downtown Palm Springs, California.
A desert city known for its hot springs, luxe hotels, golf courses and spas.
Suzanne and Alan purchased the legendary compound decades ago after they tied the knot, as an
escape from their main home in Venice, California, and they happily lived here for over 40 years.
Spanning 28 acres, the beautiful property has a unique layout with 4 individual villas
and a main house, which Suzanne spoke about in the past.
It's a great home for having guests because they can each go off to their own cottages
at the end of the day and have privacy.
According to listed materials, the property is known as one of the most prolific estates
in the Mesa neighborhood, and it spans 8,826 square feet of space with 8 beds, 9 full baths
and 2 half baths throughout.
The spread is accessed by a private funicular that carries you up the hillside from the
parking spaces below the main house, and the interiors are decorated both lavish and
eccentric.
The design inside the living spaces suit the desert backdrop with many stucco walls and
stone flooring underfoot.
There are a mix of rustic and luxury accents, like wood cabinets in the main house's
spacious kitchen, along with top-grade stainless appliances.
The chef's kitchen further has a butler's pantry.
Then, the formal dining room boasts high ceilings and an opulent chandelier, along with some
glamorous and vintage furnishings, and room for 32 guests.
Not to mention there's a main living room, with wood-beamed ceilings and wood-burning
fireplace, while elsewhere a sprawling wet bar.
The home features glass walls throughout that open up to scenic views of the Mount St. Jacinto
Desert.
The main villa also contains Suzanne and Alan's plush master suite, city view ensuite bath,
and two offices.
There's even a dramatic dressing room with sparkling chandelier overhead, his and hers
walk-in closets and a safe room.
Bonuses inside this structure include a 5,000 bottle wine cellar with tasting room, multiple
private terraces, and an outdoor shower.
One of the multiple guest villas is called Rock House, which is a stone-built structure
set in the Rocky Mountain, which rises steeply behind their property, designed by legendary
architect Albert Frey.
It appears a lot of the compound utilizes natural and authentic architectural elements
for an earthy vibe.
The Rock House reportedly features a two-room suite with glass walls, a fireplace, hand-carved
Balinese garden doors, a clawfoot tub, a rock shower, and a peaceful meditation garden outside.
Aside from the other guest villas, the property has a tented pavilion that overlooks the heated
swimming pool and spa, and a waterfall-fed pond.
Among the many terraces to unwind and entertain, Suzanne's property even features an amphitheater
carved from rock walls.
While this beautiful property is a lot for Suzanne and Alan to move on from, the couple
says they're moving to a new nearby home, which is getting transformed into an eco-friendly
oasis.
Alan explained about the new home,
We're using this new construction as a new opportunity to make everything as green as
possible.
Even though I am not one of those greeniacs, we're making sure the air quality is balanced
and perfect, and even the drywall doesn't have all of those chemicals.
The couple is also installing solar power, an organic garden, and more.
Suzanne said while they'll have less room at the new place for family and friends, she
still says,
We're going to give parties, it's a party house, a very sexy house.
Another bonus will be what the couple calls the passion pit.
Suzanne recalled,
When Alan and I were falling in love, he was living on an old houseboat.
And one of the houseboat's features was a carpeted area set in front of a fireplace,
which they called the passion pit, and they plan to recreate this in their new home.
Suzanne and Alan also maintain a minimalistic beach house in Malibu, California, which she
showed off to People Magazine in 2017.
In 2007, the wildfires destroyed 4 homes in Malibu, including their own, so according
to Suzanne, it took a long time to rebuild.
This time, they kept their oceanfront abode more simple.
There's a nearly all-white design for the interiors, which suits the Malibu location
perfectly, along with walls of glass and windows to soak in the waterfront surroundings.
During her tour, Suzanne explained that they don't keep a lot of stuff here, but the
items they do are sentimental.
The couple has a dining area set in a corner of double height glass, and a modern table
with bold pink chairs.
The glass sliders also open out to a waterfront terrace.
Suzanne shows off what's called Big Al's Bar for the entertaining area she shares with
her husband.
The couple reportedly would meet at their home bar 4 to 5 times a week, and quote, never
have more than two drinks, except their big ones.
Out on the large balcony, there's also a plush sunbed where Alan and Suzanne reportedly
like to relax.
The actress added, I can't get over it, it's such a gift.
There's just a lot of nature and light and beauty, and I love my life.
While the couple kept this Malibu retreat in 2016, it was reported that they sold a
pair of side-by-side oceanfront parcels in Malibu for a total of 12 million dollars.
Suzanne and Alan had bought the first piece of land in 1999 for 2.3 million, and then
got the next a couple years later for 2.35 million dollars.
Mind, the land spans about a third of an acre, with 190 feet of beach frontage.
Just before wrapping up this video, while Suzanne was having that Malibu retreat rebuilt,
she and Alan of course needed a retreat to stay at.
Way back in 2007, sources reported that the couple was staying in a big house in the Sarah
Retreat, which is the same gated enclave Britney Spears and Kay Fed once lived at.
That was ages ago.
The contemporary house had 4 beds and 4 baths, which included the choice of two master suites,
as well as 4.35 acres of land.
But it was an oceanfront.
Either way, the 5,000 square foot spread was costing Suzanne and Alan an estimated 25k
per month to call home.
The gated estate also came with a sprawling grassy yard with swimming pool and views of
the nearby ocean, while inside there was a dramatic curving staircase in the entryway,
past a large glass front door, along with open plan living spaces.
Alright guys, well that's gonna wrap up our Suzanne Summers house tour.

sold, what did you guys think?
