Talking about homelessness at the policy level is useful, but it’s important to know who we’re talking about too. Who are they? How did they wind up on the streets? What’s common between them? One we know that, we can discuss what, at a completely practical level, are useful ways to offer help and end the crisis of homelessness.

In our panel, we’re joined by two women who made it off the streets and turned their lives around. Jennifer Reyes and Adrianna Granlund explain why the current federal policy of Housing First didn’t help them—and what did.

And Michele Steeb describes what she knows works—and doesn’t—after nearly 13 years as CEO at St. John’s shelter. It’s also in her new book, “Answers Behind the RED DOOR: Battling the Homeless Epidemic.”

Hi everyone!

We are currently implementing some big very big and exciting changes!

As you may already know, NTD shows are often demonetized and censored by YouTube. So to ensure we can continue to report in an uncensored environment, The Nation Speaks is moving to a new premium subscription platform launched by The Epoch Times: EpochTV.

This YouTube channel will continue to publish clips from all our interviews, plus our special feature, America Q&A. Full episodes will be available on-demand on EpochTV.

You can also watch us live every Sat. 11am-12pm (ET) on Ntd.com or check to see if your local cable or free-to-air provider carries NTD here: https://www.ntd.com/tv-providers.html

Thank you for supporting our efforts to continue reporting the truth—and help spread the word!

We are looking forward to making this new platform flourish together with you!
