In recent real estate news, the pop-punk star just purchased the mansion of one of his friends,
YouTuber and podcaster Logan Paul.
MGK spent $7.5 million on the stylish home, located in Encino, California, which offers
plenty of amenities, including park-like grounds with an outdoor grotto kitchen.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses, and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Coulson Baker, known best by his stage name, Machine Gun Kelly or MGK, is a rapper, singer,
musician and actor who's recognized for blending alternative hip hop with rock in
his music.
In 2020, MGK released his 5th album, Tickets to My Downfall, which marked his complete
switch from hip hop to pop punk.
He also debuted number 1 on the Billboard charts.
He went on to achieve similar success with his follow-up album, Mainstream Sellout, in
2022.
Between his hit songs and acting on screen, MGK has amassed an estimated net worth of
about $25 million, according to online sources.
His relationship with actress Megan Fox has also made them one of the IT couples, and
seeing as they're now engaged, it definitely makes sense that Coulson would want to invest
in a home in the LA area.
While the pair had been leasing out a luxury home in the Sherman Oaks area for quite some
time, now, the renting days look like they're over.

Now let's get into this video.
If Machine Gun Kelly's new home looks familiar, that's because it is.
In April 2022, it was reported that YouTuber and podcaster Logan Paul finally let go of
his mansion in the Encino area of Los Angeles, for a reported 7.5 million dollars, selling
it to one of his buddies, in this case, MGK.
While some might never want to purchase the former home of someone they know, when a crib
is done up this stylishly, I could see why.
Back in 2017, Logan paid 6.6 million dollars for the home, but he was asking 9 million
when he put the property on the market, so Coulson didn't get too bad of a deal.
Not to mention, during Logan's time living here, he gave the contemporary home's interiors
a custom remodel which he had shown off on YouTube in the past, further adding perimeter
fencing and a high tech security system too.
Photos with the current listing show the abode prior to all of Logan's extensive renovations,
but the floor plan and configurations still remain mainly the same.
Encino is a Los Angeles neighbourhood home to plenty of famous faces and creators, from
Selena Gomez, to Gwen Stefani, James Charles, and many more.
Coulson's new home was originally built in 1976 by famed architect Robert Byrd, and
sits on nearly an acre of tree-shaded land in the exclusive Rancho Estates neighbourhood.
It was given a completely modern refresh by developer Maxim Chernovsky in recent years,
aside from all of Logan's changes as well.
The gunmetal grey coloured estate boasts reclaimed wood siding, polished concrete exteriors,
and interior details like beamed ceilings overhead.
The floor plan encompasses just under 8,700 square feet of space, along with 7 spacious
bedrooms and 8 bathrooms throughout.
Locking in, there's a large living room with open layout and high ceilings, as well
as a floating staircase leading upstairs.
In the kitchen, there's a second winding staircase, as well as marble counters and
stainless steel appliances, and elsewhere, a breakfast nook with built-in white brick,
wood-burning fireplace, and large windows overlooking the pool.
MGK and his bride-to-be can also enjoy the family room with the custom wet bar, or the
other amenities like the loft-style games room or massive wine wall.
Further bonuses include the industrial-style staircase and home office with views.
Coulson's new master suite not only has an attached spa-style bath,
but there's also a large custom walk-in closet.
During Logan's ownership, his favourite feature of the property was hands down the
lush backyard, which he's also said is where the real magic of the home lies.
Not only are the grounds full of mature trees and greenery for a ton of privacy,
there's also a stunning oversized pool and spa in what listing materials call
an amazing outdoor grotto kitchen.
Beyond the patio and grassy lawns, there's also a sizable one bedroom,
one bathroom guest house back here, which Logan actually had transformed
into a fully equipped, top-of-the-line fitness centre.
Considering Coulson doesn't appear to own any other LA area real estate,
this might just mark the musician's first big purchase here.
For most of last year, he and Meghan were shacking up in a 30k per month
rental abode in Sherman Oaks, so let's take a look at that next.
Before we wrap up this house tour, let's see the main rental mansion MGK and Meghan
were living at for most of 2021.
Since May of last year, the couple had been leasing this love nest in an off-market deal
for a reported $30,000 per month.
Located in LA's upscale Sherman Oaks neighbourhood,
this area is constantly growing in popularity among the rich and famous.
Not to mention Meghan herself used to own a home here too.
Coulson and Meghan stayed at this 5,300 square foot abode, which offered 5 beds and 5 baths,
and was newly built in April 2021, with everything looking fresh, modern and upgraded.
Amenities in Meghan and MGK's rental mansion included a swimming pool,
spa, basketball court and an open deck outside,
not to mention an additional terrace located off of the master suite.
Elsewhere there was a 26 foot sprawling entryway,
Baja shelves installed throughout the home, a fancy chef's kitchen and a two-car garage.
At the back of their main residence, there was also a second family home on the property
that was said to be up for rent separately at the time.
It seems that the couple might have lived in another rental mansion prior to this one,
one that Coulson talked about on The Ellen Show,
including the spooky reason that they moved out of that one.
The first time the musician mentioned the former haunted house was about a year ago,
explaining that Meghan called him up, scared after she saw doors opening and closing on their own.
When Coulson came to check things out, he didn't seem very phased, jokingly or not jokingly,
calling them high ghosts, making ghost snacks or washing ghost dishes.
But as time went on, MGK must've seen something with his own eyes
because he definitely changed his mind.
After that, he told Ellen they ended up moving out right away,
when he saw their bedroom door kick open while they were laying in bed.
Not only did the couple claim to have paranormal experiences here,
he said their personal masseuse would later tell them she always saw a
dark shadowy figure at the end of the table when she gave them massages in the home.
Well, here's to hoping that Logan Paul didn't leave any ghosts behind
in the Encino mansion he sold to Coulson.
Well guys, that's going to wrap up our Machine Gun Kelly house tour.
After seeing his new home, which you may have already seen considering it's former owner,
what did you guys think? Do you think it suits MGK too?
I'm guessing that once he and Meghan move in,
she'll want to change things up to suit the couple's unique tastes.
I mean, right now it's kind of giving man cave vibes.
