Starts a new day I am here now in the port of Ushuaia and I am going to board a boat
To go on an excursion as I mentioned to you yesterday through the Beagle Channel
So nothing I'm just barely on time because it's leaving already but anyway I'll get there fine
So nothing else I think it's going to be a really cool day you'll see
We have already set sail from the port of Ushuaia
It's going to be about four hours of tour
I'm doing it with Canoero company which I haven't finished yet
But anyway everyone tells me it's the best because it's the only one that takes four hours
There are others that take five [hours] and you'll say well if the trip lasts longer that's better isn't it
But the problem is that you see the same thing just that this one seems to have the colonies
Something strange I don't know maybe something like that the closest penguins
But anyway I'll leave you the one from Canoero which is the one I'm using
And nothing then you should check and the one that interests you
right Well let's get started
Let's look at several points of interest from the Beagle Channel
It is the most well-known area of Ushuaia
And I love this area I mean I love it because it's near the End of the World Lighthouse
It is closer to the Falkland Islands
Then what is seen here behind is Cape Horn
It is the Cape Horn obviously
Then further south is Antarctica
But being here for me is a dream really it's a dream to be here
I'm done here in Ushuaia the second day
I am now at the airport here in Ushuaia
I don't know if it's visible but there's the terminal
The thing is I'm sitting on the floor because flight 50 has been delayed 50 minutes
Many flights are delayed
On this trip thank goodness I don't have any layovers or important things to do
Just after the flights because otherwise I would be missing a lot of things
You can't trust anything here
And nothing so now what I'm going to do is take a very short flight
For about an hour and a bit to Calafate which is my next destination
It's a little further north
If you see it on the map it's very close but for example
If you want that is the best way to go from Ushuaia to Calafate or vice versa
It's by plane because the other way would be by bus
It's a bit more expensive or rather a bit cheaper
Half price but the thing is it's not worth
it because it's like 20 hours of travel
And on top of the 20-hour trip there's also the matter of dealing with everything along the way
Through the road you pass through Chile that is Argentina is in the middle of Chile
And then again Ushuaia Argentina all this area of Tierra del Fuego
So the issue is that when you have to go through Chile you have to go through customs and border controls
and in Bolivia with Chile there are already problems it takes a long time it's very slow
Then it's a beating I don't want I don't want to endure
So the best thing and if you've looked at the whole world it tells you the same thing
It's not worth it for what you save by enduring that beating
It's better to pay a little more for a flight and be in one hour instead of twenty
Then what I'm going to do is land in Calafate and go straight to Chaltén
It's even further north three hours away
I have a transfer booked that is waiting for me to sleep in El Chaltén tonight
It's going to be a tough journey getting there but well I'll get there I'll sleep
And tomorrow I'm going hiking in El Chaltén which is an area
Trekking is a Chaltén is a well-known area for trekking
There are peaks like Fitz Roy for example and many lakes to see
But anyway I'll explain as I go along
And nothing else I'll wait here a bit at the airport and then we go to Calafate
I have finally arrived here in El
Chaltén I have been sleeping a little in the van
But anyway it was like three hours of travel in the shuttle from the airport to Calafate
And there I am I have arrived here El Chaltén is like a very very small village
They all feel almost like hostels guest houses and
so on I haven't seen much either because there are a lot of people
I arrived at midnight but okay
At my hotel I had a mini heart attack because it was closing
There was no one it was like closed and the doorbell
was ringing the phone was ringing there was no signal
Well I managed to get it it was close so nothing I'm already at the hotel
I'll show you the room
It's quite good because it's such a
huge bed covered all with paper flowers
And here is the bathroom for shower that's about all
I came to Chaltén
Everyone here comes for the same thing hiking
So what I'm going to do tomorrow I mean it's already super late
I'm going to go to bed now so I can start early tomorrow
because I'm going to do a trek that's about nine or ten hours in total
Round trip that must be really cool
But I want to start soon so it doesn't get too late
Because then I won't stop
In the afternoon I have another transfer and since I'm going back to Calafate
So nothing I have to be for that train So
no I get much more wrapped up
I sleep more
I don't even know what I'm saying
I'm going to sleep Let's talk tomorrow
