It had been said that Armie was selling timeshares in the Cayman Islands but as of September
2022, he's back in LA and his friend actor Robert Downey Jr is helping him out, even
lending Armie one of his spare homes to live at.
In 2020, before everything hit the fan, Armie and his wife Elizabeth were officially splitting
up, which meant he was selling his Tudor-style mansion in the Hancock Park neighborhood of
Los Angeles.
The beautiful home was built in 1927, with over 6,000 square feet of space inside as
well as a ton of modern upgrades.
Also, Michael and I have dropped our own house tour of our new home that we moved into this
year, so go ahead and subscribe to our personal channel if you want to see where we're living
and more of what we're up to.
In these videos we don't reveal any addresses and even though I've done a house tour of
my own place, please do not show up at any private residences because it's not safe
for anyone.
Armie Hammer is an actor as well as son of businessman Michael Armond Hammer and great
grandson of oil tycoon Armond Hammer.
He started acting appearing in a handful of TV series, and while his film career was steadily
taking off in 2021, allegations of sexual abuse and cannibal fetishes among others were
made against him, bringing everything to a halt.
Armie would later abandon future on-screen projects while at the same time being dropped
by his agent and publicist.
Now, with the three-part docu-series titled House of Hammer, more secrets about Armie
and his powerful family tree are being exposed.
Despite growing up in the most luxurious of mansions in Los Angeles as well as owning
his own multi-million dollar homes, Armie is hiding out a bit more these days.
Hey guys, it's Kara the Vampire Slayer back with another exclusive house tour here on
Famous Entertainment, today looking at the one-time homes of Armie Hammer.

And now, let's get into this video.
In 2021, Armie Hammer finally sold the Los Angeles home he once shared with his wife
Elizabeth Chambers.
However, it was at a loss.
In 2020, the estranged couple put it on the market for a hopeful $5.8 million, but as
after several price drops and all of the bad publicity the actor received, the house
only sold for $4.7 million when all was said and done.
This stately abode was located in the upscale Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles,
an area known for its architectural beauty and variety.
There are a handful of historic homes here in property styles like Tudor Revivals, Spanish
Colonials and more.
Hancock Park is a prized area by tourists and well-to-do locals, with celebrities living
here including Mindy Kaling, Alexandra Daddario, Dermot Mulroney, and more.
But for Armie, unfortunately, he'll be living here no more.
Not only was the sale price of his mansion over a million dollars less than the ask,
but it's slightly below the price of $4.715 million he paid for it a few years back.
The English Tudor Manor home was built in 1927 and located just steps away from the
Wilshire Country Club, boasting an exterior with covered in ivy and some red brick.
It also had all of the features you'd expect of a classic Tudor, like the timbering, leaded
glass windows, and steep pitched gable roofs.
The property was located on a quiet tree-lined street, and protected with hedges for privacy
while inside, there was a spacious 6,275 square foot floor plan.
Armie and his ex-wife also made sure to give the interiors a modern makeover.
Inside you'll notice plenty of neutral color schemes, new hardwood flooring, and more.
The 3 story mansion boasted 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms throughout, and some of the highlights
included the dramatic foyer with grand staircase, with fresh and white detailed banisters, as
well as the nearby double height living room.
This space also had a double height fireplace, which was recently redone, original ceiling
beams overhead, a large window, and an airy feel.
There was also a formal dining room decked out in wood paneling, an office with fireplace,
and a peaceful sunroom with French doors opening to the yard.
Moving into the kitchen, the space was mostly contemporary, with stainless steel appliances
and a separate breakfast room.
Rounding out the main level was a library and maids quarters.
Upstairs, Armie's former home had 4 more bedrooms, one of which was used as a walk-in
closet at the time.
This also included the complete master suite, with a fireplace, sitting area, and en suite
bath that was spa style, with its very own separate sauna.
The third floor of the home was the attic level at the top that boasted yet another
bedroom and some more room for storage.
Moving out into the private grounds of the home, the lot wasn't big, but it did have
all you could need.
There was a terrace out back, with room to dine and entertain, as well as a built in
BBQ center, and of course the feature here was definitely the lagoon style pool that
came with a spa and rock waterfall, and nearby, a poolside cabana.
Of course, with Armie's family history, we know that he grew up in the nicest of California
homes too.
Back in 2011, the Hammers were selling off a handful of their real estate holdings, so
we were able to get a glimpse inside of many of these properties where a young Armie would
have spent some of his time.
The 3 Hammer family homes that came up on the market at the same time came with a total
asking price of 26.1 million dollars, and included a house in Montecito, a condo in
a famed Hollywood building, and an epic spot in Beverly Hills.
The home in Montecito might have been the most charming of the three, being a George
Washington Smith designed abode that was built in 1926.
It featured 4 beds, 7 baths, and a lot in one of the most exclusive areas in California.
Just outside of Santa Barbara, the then recently restored Mediterranean style mansion boasted
high woodbeam ceilings, a guest house, and stunning mountain views, and it was up for
sale at 6.25 million dollars.
Then the Hammers also listed a condo for nearly 4 million dollars in the prestigious Sierra
Towers building, a high rise beloved by celebrities, located in Hollywood Hills, above the west
end of the Sunset Strip.
The 2 bed 2 bath unit was decked out in modern luxury, and full walls of windows and natural
light.
Finally, the most expensive property Armie's family let go of at this time was in Beverly
Hills.
Listed at 15.9 million dollars, the 1952 French style mansion just screamed old Hollywood.
The sprawling 4 bedroom 6 bathroom house was situated on 1.19 private acres of land and
looked exactly as you would imagine of a wealthy oil family to live in.
With all of those stunning properties behind him, at least for now, the world has been
wondering where Armie is currently shacking up.
In July 2022, Armie was spotted since returning to Los Angeles from the Cayman Islands alongside
his estranged wife and their two children.
It was confirmed that the family flew back on July 8th after reports that Hammer was
selling timeshares in Grand Cayman.
TMZ had also shared photos of the actor that were taken back in June, showing him seated
at a desk at the resort, wearing a polo shirt and holding a pen while speaking to people
sitting across from him.
Whether he's a salesman or not, now he's been back in Los Angeles for a few months.
Armie had only decided to return in July with his family for the first time after his scandal
surfaced.
It's said that his friend, actor Robert Downey Jr has been a major source of support
for him during the scandal.
The Avengers star has reportedly been financially supporting Armie and even covered the bill
for his 6 month stay in a Florida rehab.
Now, it's said that Armie is actually living in one of Downey Jr's extra homes in LA,
so we'll see how long that living situation is the case for.
After looking at Armie Hammer's former properties, we can truly see how the actor lived in a
lap of luxury.
And now only time will tell what the future holds amidst all the scandal.
But that's gonna bring this house tour to an end.
Let me know what you thought of Armie's homes down in the comments, or if you're
currently watching the documentary too.
