New DIY Plant Racks For The Grow Space! Browsing Plants at Big Box Store || Saturday Vlog
I was so excited to finally get this racking system set up in the grow room! A couple of weeks ago, I went shopping at Lowes in a vlog and got some materials which likely didn't make much sense, those materials were for this DIY project. After waiting a few more weeks for some wire shelving to ship, I decided to just go to Home Depot and buy a shelf from the store. I went shopping at Home Depot, gave a little nursery tour and rushed home to get to work. Once the shelves were set up, I explained the purpose for the rack trays from Hydrobuilder. This DIY plant rack is huge! I have so much more room for plants and watering has been a breeze! I will plumb these up with ebb and flow kits incase I want to recirculate water or use one of the trays from propagating plant cuttings. I forgot to mention that the grow lights I am using, which aren't really grow lights are just linkable LED shoplights from SAMs Club. If anyone knows of some linkable, wet rated four foot grow lights that are full spectrum, please let me know. These cheap lights have worked well for growing plants so far. This set up is will work well for DIY hydroponics, I don't know if I will use it for that, but this was an excellent and cheap plant shelving for the grow space. I think this will work well for organizing houseplants.
