Day Trip To Mont-Saint-Michel With Kids

This was one of the high lights of our entire trip. Mont-Saint-Michel did not disappoint. The town surrounding the abbey is very touristy but still feels quaint and is very picturesque. We had so much fun visiting the abbey and exploring the town and are looking forward to going again someday.

TIPS FOR FAMILIES: There are a lot of stairs! SO be prepared to carry your stroller or just don't even bring it and opt out for the carrier for any non-walkers.
I don't show this in the video, but you pay to park quite a ways from the abbey and there is a free bus that will shuttle everyone from the parking lot to the base of the "island". The bus will also make a stop right before it crosses the bridge if you decide that you want to walk across the bridge or on the land. I might try the beach walk next time.
