It's a busy day at the Superstition Mountains. Look at this, so many people out here today.
Why do you think this is? The weather. Perfect weather, huh? What is it, like 60s right now?
Maybe it's gonna get up to the 70s today? It's gonna get to 70s. Oh, it's gonna be awesome.
Mid-70s, it's gonna be gorgeous. It'll maybe be a little bit on top of the summit, but
you guys, for everybody out there, if you get a chance to do this hike,
definitely take a look at it. Google it, research it. It's got a lot of cool history behind it as
far as gold goes, Native Americans, a lot of ruins, and a lot of super creepy things happen up here
too, so interested to see if we encounter any old spirits or something. What's going on, guys?
I'm here out and exploring again. This is a beautiful day for a hike. We're going to do
roughly 8 miles of hiking with a little more than 3,000 feet of elevation change. It's gonna be
an extreme hike. It's gonna be a long day, but we are so ready for it. So come along with us.
Let's conquer this place together. Yay, see you in the summit. I'm kidding.
Did you just say one mile? Yes, we're at a mile. Mile, one mile, and seven more to go.
Look at that mushroom, Adam. Are you gonna go after it? You should go out and climb on top of it.
Well, if we eat it like in Mario, we just get bigger and then climb the top of the mushroom.
Right. Looks really nice. Really pretty. Well, I guess this is where the climbing begins, huh?
A lot of big boulders to get over here. All right, guys. At this point, we found ourselves a little
off trail. I think it's very sketchy. There's several paths that lead who knows where.
But we have the map, so we're trying to get back on the red line.
Yeah, if you make it out here, make sure you have a map and you keep checking on it because it gets
very sketchy at some point, you know, and what is like a mile and a half, a little over 1.5 miles,
and it got very confusing. So we're gonna keep going and we'll see how we end up back
on that red line. Let's go. Nice rock and roll. And Adam is all excited taking photos.
Well, we're lost. I'm a little more excited when we park the car right now. I'm a little kind of
like, um, you know, it's going to be good though. Yeah, the weather is nice and the views are
amazing. So well, the day is gorgeous. We're enjoying the hike no matter what. I feel good.
Me too. This is probably one of the most sketchiest paths I've been on. Okay, welcome to my world.
I think we found the trail. Yeah, we started from over here. We were down there somewhere
and then we found a stack of rocks and here we are now back to our path.
Yeah, there's the white dot. Look, you can see the cars from right here.
Show me where. Over there. All right, let's keep going because we still have another
six miles to go. All right guys, we are two miles in and, uh, is it two miles? We're like halfway
there, huh? Yeah, and, uh, I think it was over 2,000 feet of elevation already or getting to 2,000.
Who knows? But we are feeling good. That first part kicked our butts but we're still going strong
and we're gonna make it to the summit here in the next couple hours hopefully. And yeah, the views
are amazing. It's definitely more than I thought it was going to be but I feel really good. This is
a nice hike. The weather's still good so that's awesome. I think it's up there where we're going.
I think we have to go all the way up there. Yeah. It seems so far. Yeah, we'll make it. I think we'll get there.
Two more miles and it's kind of far. It doesn't, it looks further than that though. It's crazy.
But I understand completely like why people get lost out here. We have been
off trail probably a handful, like five times already. Just like, where's the trail? And, uh,
we end up looking at the phone. We're always off the map a little bit. We find the trail again
and we're back. But if I came out here by myself, I didn't have the map, I'd have a lot
harder of a time. So definitely be careful when you come out here but it's gorgeous.
You guys see that over there? A little thumb looking thing on that side of this. Like a
weaver's needle. Yes, once we get on top of 5057 we'll be able to see it more clearly. We still have
a long way to go. You have no service? Oh wow. Okay guys, you see that path over there?
We are about to go down a little bit and then we have another, what, 500 feet to gain
to get to the top? Yeah, maybe. Maybe a little more. Maybe a little more, maybe a little less.
I don't know. It's a mental game, this hike. I set up my thing a little late. I started the
hike and I forgot to set my my watch but I think I'm like, it's pretty close though. It was only
like by a quarter of a mile. But we are gonna go down, down a little bit, up a little bit, and then
up again. You know what's really cool about this is sometimes we actually start hikes
that are this long. Like from here to where we're going. And we might have been hiking for two hours.
This is like the start of a hike. Yeah. But for us, it's the final stretch right now.
We are so close. We are almost there. I promise you guys. What are you looking at? The summit is this way.
Oh my god. Alright guys, this last little push is literally a climb straight up.
And I feel like I'm dying. We're almost there. Okay Adam, tell me why there's duct tape in that box.
I think it's probably for, you know how people wrap like duct tape around their fingers and stuff?
Like when they work out, they weight lift. I don't know. Maybe that's why it's there or
maybe for an emergency cut. I don't know. Is there gorilla glue in there? No, but there is
moleskin. Oh. For your moles. And then your FDA approved. It's a first aid kit.
Approved first aid kit. You get a band-aid, gauze pad. I don't know who did that but it's
literally one band-aid and one gauze pad. What else is in there? There's a rock. There's a tampon.
There's also, I think it's a can condom. A can condom? Yeah, you put it over your can
so it keeps it fresh, you know? I don't know. I hope it's not like a... I don't know,
maybe I shouldn't be touching it. I don't know. That looks questionable.
There's a wrapper in here because someone didn't want to take their trash down.
There's a notebook. Yeah, make sure you put Alejandro's Adventures on there and invite people to
follow us and subscribe because we explore a lot of places and they probably want to see
where we're going next. Let's mark the front. We made it! Yes! We're here! But now it's time to go back.
Thank you guys so much for watching. If you like the video, make sure to give us a thumbs up
and don't forget to like, subscribe and follow. Yes. All right guys, thank you so much for
watching. We will see you guys next time. Ready? We are ready. We're gonna run down. You guys ready?
Let's go. Look, somebody left trash right here. No good guys. Not my trash, but it's my planet.
Give me your hand. Give me your hand. You're gonna feel more secure. There you go. Here's next.
Nope, right there is next because that I don't like it. You're good. It's solid. I stepped on it.
There you go. Yeah, don't get stuck right there. You want to go first or you want me to go first?
It doesn't matter. You go first. Okay, look right here. Then sit on it and then you're gonna kind of
slide to get here. Well, you're taller. You might not need to slide.
And then I'll wait for you here and you got this. Perfect. There. And before I go, I want to give
you guys a little piece of advice. If you're planning to hike this trail and you're using
all trails, it will tell you that the trail is 7.8 miles long. However, my iWatch recorded over 10
miles and I've done this trail twice and both times I recorded over 10 miles. So I believe
there's a discrepancy in this all trails map. So be advised, be ready and have fun.
