Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs - Full Game Highlights - November 25, 2022 NBA Season

Spectrum Sportsnet proudly presents the NBA. Tonight, the Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs. Absolutely, you gotta make sure that A.D. Steele is the man that sets the table. An absolute historic run for Anthony Davis. Kelvin Johnson, his three lowest scoring games of the year. Here is Troy Brown Jr. on his way, down it goes. Need the early jump start. They've only led once in the last 12 games after quarter number one. They were down 9-0 against the Spurs at that time. To A.D. from LeBron, another turnover. And Lonnie gets it right back. Here comes the former Spurs. Skywalker down the middle. He gives it over to A.D. and he lays it up. Back and in, back and in on Lonnie. McCord will try to force it again to Kirtle. That's a turnover. Oh, here it goes right down. And the Lakers have four San Antonio, three miscues. And we haven't even played four minutes. Kevin Vassell, on his current losing streak in the NBA. After a 5-2 start. Lonnie Walker, nothing but four seasons here. Big member of the community, too. He was involved in a Thanksgiving charity event when they came back. Knocking it down for the Trae. Had a career high in three-point attempts against the Pelleys. Seven. They only made one. Walker looking for two in a row. Yes, sir. Go ahead into the frontcourt. Confronts LeBron. Instead, hands it off to Johnson. One, two. Nice move over Anthony. LeBron and Lonnie Walker, the fourth. Rush. Go to A.D. The lob. And Purdue just got back to the lineup the other night. Bad pass. Here come the Lakers. Lonnie, the fourth. Oh, lay it up. Quick double on A.D. They've done their homework, haven't they? Let somebody else beat us. Last six games. Collins trying to find a man under the basket. Good play by Rush. Take it away. Here we come. Four on two. Lonnie, the fourth. All the way. Kiss it off the window for two. Off to the left. Picked up that time by Collins. Here comes Vassell. Couple of quick moves. Lonnie. Foul move. Count it and one. Three. Up the ladder goes Troy Brown. Wendy on the other side. Of course. He ran all the way to the other side to get it. Set up. Patrick Nonforth. Drive. Kick. Good movement by the Smurfs that time. Rebound. Wendy. Long lead to Rush. He's got it. Throw it down with two hands. Can't move. He's just got to hesitate for a split second. He only went scoreless the other night in Phoenix, but he's going to give you so many other things in the box score. Jones. Good move. Schroeder from Germany. Gets it right back. Fake second stick with the Lakers. LeBron's going to try another three. He's got it this time. LeBron James. A driving kick by Schroeder as he drew the second defender. They answer. High school. LeBron back door. Brown had a layup. It seemed. Here comes Kendrick. None to score. In the NBA, and I mean by a mile. They're a minus double digits. A minus 10 plus. Vassell over Gabriel. Beautiful shot. We're now into the corner. Finds Kendrick. None again. They pull a chair on him. He'll just fall down. I think he just lost balance. Yeah. So hand over. Lay it up and in. Also, so far in free throws, Lakers just 5 out of 6, 2 out of 3 for the Spurs. Perfect. Inside by Roban. He's underneath. Reverse layup. He threw that one up with a spin and too high off the board. Look at Reed. Going one on five. He's trying to get AD a little more involved, but they're doubling much too. At every opportunity. Reed now into the lane. Stops. Shoots. Oh! The start of the game. Westbrook. Again, good vision. Finding on the right side. So he's got a lot of ties and affection for the city of San Antonio. AD and LeBron are on the floor. What's up with AD? LeBron got knocked down. AD went over to help him up in a wet spot, and his feet went out from under him. That's the danger of a wet court. Five post. Lonnie's been hot since we've just talked about. AD back to the basket. Cutting. LeBron, there he goes. With the left hand. Get a lot. AD needed just 28 minutes to get his 30 points and 18 rebounds against the Spurs on Sunday. He's got two more. Now AD, the two Lakers in double digits. You got Vassell and Sohan in double figures for San Antonio. Vassell, kind of, it goes. It goes. He's got to cover up his lane. That's what Pirtle does. Two-fourth in the NBA in offensive rebounds. Look away, Patrick. Roy Brown, Jr. Into the third quarter. That's going to be a steal by Vassell. That's 14 Lakers turnovers. And at the other end, not much. Johnson, last three games, he's won it for 18 from beyond the arc. And seven for 36 overall. He puts it up and in, though, that time. Pirtle will run a little bit of a weave out on top. Vassell getting a lot of touches with his basketball club. Johnson got it. Evans. So, that's, he has won for 18 up until that one. Last three games, he's on to the fourth. Answers right from the outside for Lonnie Walker. May not snow here tonight, but it's definitely going to rain. Underneath, Al-Ghassan does not want to pick up the fourth, but about five minutes to go in the third. So, they're attacking the paint a little bit. With 20, they could cut it to single digits. Rebound, offense, Pirtle, put it up and put it in. Winding down in three minutes to go. Kelvin Johnson finally finding his footing. Slicing into the lead. Won't see them until the third quarter. Underneath, Jones. Full run. Lakers had five turnovers in the third quarter. Giving up 17 points in 17. Collins, looking to trade Jones. Has a brother in the NBA. Out on top. Isaiah Romey, three. Yes. He can't buy one. Fortunately for the Lakers, he can. He's 0 for 5. Austin rides it up and in. They stay on target. Collins had the rebound. It fumbled it away. Now, he's got to scrape himself off the deck. LeBron James. Got the crowd going a little bit. Stolen away by Reeves. Here they come. 3-on-2. Austin. LeBron. Score. To their last 7 after that miss by Collins on the outside. LeBron again. Down the middle he goes. LeBron all the way. Runs over a man. No whistle. Throw it down, big fella. It's LeBron. Puts up the assist. Lakers taking charge again. This one misses. But Johnson. Lakers get another opportunity. The Lakers only had 4. They lose against Phoenix. Got it to go. Schroeder. And one. Convertle. Hand off. Kelvin Johnson. Stops right at the free throw line. Sohan's going to try it. It settles in. Here comes Spurs trying to get it back to single digits. Ball movement by Johnson. Attacking his fellow man. That's going to be a rebound. Johnson. Blocked by A.D. Controlled by Austin Reeves. LeBron trying to navigate in. Over the head. No. D. Tips it up and it's out. 65. A.D. baseline. LeBron. Now king. You overplay and that's what happens. You go back. Steps on its way. Sohan's got the rebound. Trey Jones. Sohan gives it right back to him. Three is good. Same deal. Come on. We'll be right here. Deep knockdown. Tapped out by Lankford. Here's the corner. That's Christine. Roby. Bounce. Ooh. Good pass. Not even the turnover. Just killed it out. Shot clock is off. So all they have to do is wait for the horn. Really a starter's game tonight. Four of the five starters and double figures. And the one who didn't get in, Schroeder, has nine. So they did their job tonight. No Pat Bev. Pat Bev out for three with the suspension. Game one of this two-game set goes to the Lake Show. The Lakers came out of the locker room with the right attitude. They really jumped on the Spurs early, set the tempo, then withstood a couple of droughts. Lonnie comes back to San Antonio. LeBron returns to the NBA after the injury. And we will return.
