That's a tough one for Lonnie to match up with after the shot. Jared Allen, good start. Really good start for Cleveland. Once again, the guards taking control. It's Garland, never gonna miss. Shot clock is an issue. It's down to three, into the corner. Beville tried from this side. Pat Bev. Now it's Donovan Mitchell. Spider over there to Allen. Oh, threw it up and in. I don't know if he had control of that. LeBron hits the three. In close quarters, Allen. Easy one-hand throw down. Donovan Mitchell looks to attack. Oh, nice little step back move for him. Beautiful stop from Donovan Mitchell, the former Utah Jazz star. Then Russ knew he did himself also. Well, they got away with a couple. Yeah, I thought they would whistle it on A.D. as he stepped through after picking up his dribble. Long pass to Reeves. Austin all the way. Beautiful with the left hand. Guarding the defender with his body. Russ rides it up and in. Count it. And one for Westbrook. Three and a half minutes to play first quarter from Cleveland. Lonnie Walker, Kevin Love was right there in his way, but all of a sudden it's an 8-0 Laker run and it's down to two. Underneath, that's the third dunk of the night for Allen. LeBron, head of field. All the way, pass it off. Reverse layup is good for Bryan. Russ in the attacking 47. The trailer is Bryan. Perfect in rhythm. That's a good decision by Russ. Levert back and forth. He goes to windshield wiper. Trying to go up and under. Aesthetics to Jared Allen. That's basically a free throw for Allen. Jared Allen off to a tremendous start on the stat category. Oh, look at this move. Mitchell, Cleveland's got time. They're gonna be a goaltender. Yeah, I think it's gonna be a call as goaltender. Good pass underneath and Allen's got yet another dunk. All the soft variety for Allen. There is Russ gliding in and scoring with the left hand. Very assertive. In fact, pain points have gone up every game over the last five. So that's good improving too as Levert hits a little mid-range. He's creative and he does score the basketball. He's a good guy off the bench. Here he goes. Another pass to Allen. Having his way. So far, zero answers for Jared Allen. Maybe all of them were dunked so far. Oh no, he had that one little play. Oh, tipped up and in. You see Gerald Levert just threw his left hand out to deflect it. And they come back to the other end and Osmond scores. I'm so worried about his death. And LeBron gets it right back. They reset the clock. LeBron, little fall back at the corner of the key. Now Russ facing the basket. Will pull up off the window. The UCLA bank shot. Sold out Cleveland. Mortgage field out. Rocket mortgage field out. Allen, the cutter, Osmond off the basketball. Good movement by Jenny Osmond. Back to Westbrook. They move it over to Dennis Schroeder. Schroeder attacks and throws it in. Is it gonna count? Should, it should count. Here's Garland, high off the window. Boy, double defense that time by the Lakers. And LeBron, one, two, all the way to score. And the Lakers are in the lead, 41-38, timeout Cleveland. Garland gives it to Allen. Another chase that Allen was a recipient as Garland gives it right to him. Off LeBron, LeBron back it up. There's his shot over Allen. Smooth for the King. Need a little more scoring balance. Baseline jump shot is good. Lonnie Walker to fourth. Donovan Mitchell created just a little bit of space and that's all he needed. Lakers have the basketball. Schroeder all the way, that quick first step. Yeah, against a much taller defender in Mobley. They've only made two threes, however. Donovan Mitchell leans in. Mitchell, Mitchell here all the way to score. Boy, attack that rim, Donovan Mitchell. Boy, he jumped into the chest of Jones with the high fly act. There's a lean in, another runner and a floater. One minute to play, half number one. Donovan Mitchell, boy, that's strong. He gets into the paint and just elevates over the top of the defender. Here is Garland, got it. So that results in a three for Cleveland. As far as defending the paint better, they may start having to blitz the screen rolls with either Garland. Three for 20 from downtown for the Lakers in half number one. Of course, that percentage has been constantly going up over the last two, three weeks. Leaning in is Garland. Boy, can he get that up quickly over the tree? Schroeder, who has the only points for the Lakers here in the half all the way, put it up and in. Another left-hand shot. This one by Dennis Schroeder if he puts the proper spin on the ball. Now Schroeder setting fire and get. Yes, sir. Dennis Schroeder. Mitchell, little change of pace that time and one more time, they don't pick him up. That's a bad pass. Really a bad pass taken by Garland. He's ahead of the pack and he scores. Rebound Allen. Oh, LeBron's got it. Here he goes. Hammer it down, LeBron James. Still late to shoot. Lonnie on the way and he scores. Count it. And one, Lonnie Walker, the fourth. Schroeder pulls up mid-range. Good rebound. Do it, work! Throwing it down. Fabian Beverly who comes from behind but can't stop that effort in the lane. Again, more paint points. LeBron that rolls around and sells in. The downtown LeBron James. Just moving all the way in. And the path of least resistance for the Lakers going up against them is right down the middle. Revert, here he goes. Kendrick Nunn into the game. Yeah, for a first sighting of Kendrick and LeBron. They go back up by seven. Russ, reverse layup. A great layup and drive by Westbrook. Fearless. Russ has always been fearless. Oh, Donovan. Wow, sick fouls. The Lakers and scores. Reeves has not played a ton tonight. He's scrambled. Oh, they take it away. Mitchell, Lakers. Russ Hibbity hops into the lane. Now coming back out with Troy Brown Jr. 17-footer is going. That was not an easy attempt there. But he backed up and LeBron was right in his face. The little sweeping hook by Mitchell. Kevin Love is on him. Brown steps back. Got it! Troy Brown Jr. Couple of buckets in a row. Darling. Pass to Osman and he's blocked. Russ was in on him that time. Now it's LeBron. Two big steps. Scoop and a score for LeBron. Judge 14 for the offense. Reeves trying to work his way in. 36 to 11. That's the bench scoring for the Lakers. And they keep it rolling tonight. The huge win on the road is Mobley. Puts it up and in with the soft dunk. Reeves kind of, it goes! You bet it goes! Darling. Kick it wide open in the corner. That's just their fifth made three. Russ won't be denied to scoop it up and in. Lakers the 10th rated defense in the NBA. Rebound. Mitchell was the only one there. Dennis. Second go around with the Lakers. Spinning. Osman tried to stay with him. But again, Schroeder with a nice shot. Mitchell joins in for the shoot. Here he goes. On the way! A round two to score! Mitchell three. Straight away! Jay Osman. Good rebound by Allen. Makes no mistake. Got that around Troy Brown Jr. The cutter was LeBron. They turn it over. Another Laker turnover. Underneath. Osman scores! Austin goes baseline. Gets cut off there. Forces his way up. Can't hit. Thomas Bryant is there and scores! Boy just muscles it up and in. Bryant continuing to have a big game. He does! With the left hand! Couple of big baskets in a row and it's back down to 101-96. But they answer back as we've entered the final five minutes of the game. They're gonna attack the rim. No rim protection, but they've been attacking the rim all night long. As the Lakers turn it over again. And again it's Mitchell. Behind the head from Garland. Enough Cavaliers to choose from and they convert. Westbrook caught by Mobley. Mitchell reads on him. Sidestep three! And Mitchell! Robin Hammond's pulled the plug. With a game tomorrow in Toronto. And the Cavaliers go to 16-9 with the win. They've got a couple of days off. They'll bring in the Sacramento Kings on Friday. That'll be a great one to watch.
