I work here at the University of Anatomy and Materials Science at the University of Anatomy and Materials Science
Our first task will be to contact French suppliers
Many of the techniques we use are also used within the archaeological world
In the range of the emissions from the emissions from the emissions from the emissions
I think with the individuals that they like being able to see who they are talking to from the video as well
The organization was founded by Felly
I was going to give you a little bit of background and tell you how we do some of the work we do and why we do it
And now I will happen by showing you some cases first from Wales
I'm going to update Richard III because I know everyone likes to see it maybe it's not a Welsh writer
Let me say that
Felly the period of what we do relates to how important our work is in relation to the name
Felly when I look at someone when I look at their work without talking to them
We have a lot of information about them
Felly quickly we can say when looking at someone whether they are really there or just an illusion
We can't do that all the time
We cannot make a good impression in most cases of the unique world or the unique impossible world
When looking at their work
We can say something about their history or their ethnic group
We can say something about their history or their ethnic group
We cannot say anything about their history or their ethnic group
Talking about how they modify their history and how they present it to the people
We use our stories to be used on a daily basis
We are very good at distinguishing individuals by looking at them
Listen to their stories and acknowledge them
We are recording the stories of individuals as a way of using people we don't know
Felly a photograph through passport photos or public photos when they are released etc
I am sure you will be using the cultures on your computers that are going
If you want to show all the photos you have on your computer and tell you what they are
Felly all the photographs are very important for personal computer
The point for me is the interesting question of how much of this knowledge we can see by looking at the computer
Felly we know that the computer gives us a specific event
In reality much more specific than all the photographs
and we can say that it was unique in a man or human by looking at their computer structure
I am coming from the computer about how the person was in the main rather especially
Within the context of their status we can come from the computer as impossible
We will see comments on design and personalization assuming that the computer was modified in any way
Felly this computer is someone's computer from Wales
But now they have been made when this individual was a student
It would be chosen by the computer as it would change the way the screens work
This was done because it was considered interesting for any other way
The effect on the individual was not due to their ability
We will also see trauma and design that will give us comments
This person would have been selected by the computer
But in the law what is more interesting is for us to look at the individual
The school and the individual who have been chosen and the way we can do it
We could all see the men from the past
This is the only way to help people now the interesting ones
When it comes to laptops choose
Our work involves computational anatomy
We are looking at the design of the school and we are using that to make a choice
The way of the face and the way of the eye
We are using most of the work we are doing now is based on the computer
This was done in a cultural way with a glass or plastic cover on a copy of the school
Now everything has gone to the digital world
We are using three-dimensional digital technology to provide the structures
The face to us and to choose the face and the school
You have seen this case before
This is a recent prominent case from Edinburgh
Human culture that is discovered and used during work efforts
This is the general reason why we do it
Efforts whether one knows it or not efforts or efforts
This will help you
In this often in cases where we do not know
We don't know if the individual is guilty
This can be used as a tool to communicate
This is not a way to use it
It is not used locally as a way of using someone
This is a way to communicate it
as the policy will have names
But those names they
can use the individual
Felly in reality it's about presenting
a face that is being conveyed
I would know about the individual
But of course we have also used this
A few archaeologists as I said to
create faces of people from the future
Have any of you seen the show Cold
Case History that was from Dundee
You would have seen some of the most impressive
examples of that with our digital technology and CGI
Felly the process is
underway You can see
at the beginning the digital 3D system
It starts easily the traditional way
It concerns the individual process
because they were either visible or not
in the sense that the anatomical structures
In the years in the years
and then the digital programs
you can see
To communicate the
time of communication
after and after the anatomical
structures
This can enable us to build the foundations from
the years of use
The programs we use
and the methods of
viewing and still
using them in reality
Those programs these programs the
programs you can watc
In reality the death of the people and awareness after the
programs that follow
I would be
glad to do it
He was following
a phone
operation in one place clearly and mainly possibly
some feel
some feel some feel through
the view
e methods we currently use for skeletal visualization and
In some ways the skeletal structure and the major workers as well
This has enabled us to develop more efficient methods of developing essential features
datblygu skeletal
We are using a regression formula we are taking resources we are developing the
Standard is being updated and some of them are already quite good
Culturally the night was in an area that is very difficult for us to develop because it is
To deal with a crisis
There are not many ways
The night was always difficult and considered a very difficult area of facial features
Because we have been able to examine CT data from living individuals the nig
It is a very difficult area in terms of features because we have very good standards
We use them which have been given the number of times to develop a natural face from a face
asol
In the most common question asked of me how open is this
We are doing it well or can we see how well we are producing fashion how well
Does it look like a single one
Now we can do that with the French collections so when the person is developed we ca
Exchange views on the fashion but of course then we look at the general collection and
Of course they look like them because we can come up with their names so we do
Show us the results if we only look at the surface collections but again with the
We have been able to observe living individuals and in the
In this way people who share their stories with French-Senegalese have enabled us to do
A picture of someone we know what they look like we have photos of
We don't know when we will do it but then we can promote it with the
This is how the event will be conducted and this will enable us to test the methods
We are using them so here are some of these cases this case of individuals who have been separated
ere are many individual data points so it is possible for me to selec
data CT or chi make a gesture of that and then culturally adapt it with your face
Where will you live and because more and more people are being scanned with CT
We cannot choose any one for clinical environments
In the CT scan for my dental but we have a lot of dental data that has been given to us
This allows us to test these methods repeatedly over time so we know
We will be conducting a physical examination We know that about 70% of the
The remaining layer is less than 2 mm of an adhesive layer so we know
We will be focusing on the physical aspects and we hope to get more and more physical with the
Those results as well Therefore at the point of impact we are quite confident
It is possible to adapt the fashion into an educational fashion and it is possible
In the competitive world now showing realistic textures around the 3D face
I'll make them look like individual beings So I can include fine textures and broad textures
Efallai we can provide more suitable textures such as a network
etwork incident etc in order for the phase to become more and more
To make it more and more realistic The problem for us is
It is possible that something from this incident may appear
We have no information about the phase of the weight we have no information
I am convinced of the network and convinced of the higher one even though they can come w
We have DNA results but we don't have information about those textures
These textures are very important for communication
Felly I mean I can get the right way and feel confident about it
The texture of the yarn makes all the difference in communication levels
This is the professor his name is Michael Brombie from the University of Wales
It doesn't look like these efforts in reality
Leaders must communicate to give different signals
A different type of fast food
There are no prosthetics related to this at all
The way to elevate it is only in the high place
It looks like two different people because of those different textures
We know that if we give those textures to the future
We are doing them very well
very well during this period
He knew himself when he looked with the greens and the blues
The different types of clouds were going out
maybe he doesn't recognize it
because it looks like
That's enough to make that face look different
We have these different textures
And we also know that if we have no texture
It is very difficult to fully communicate the face as well
Does anyone know who this is
This is someone that you both know
I
am Yes
This is a laser scan of my every facet
I was going to show this to my students when it was about 12
They did not recognize them as my every face
It's very difficult to convey the
expression without this important texture
e eyes and the eyes and the hands etc
It's very difficult for them but certainly the
rest of this makes it very difficult for them
Someone you know
well is part of
your family and you know them very well
We know that people who
have very difficult masks
He removed the texture from his result
So here are two that you will be more open
I'm Gael or one of them
Stephen Fry that's the one
Yes Angelina Joe
They have very good looks that are really
hard to ignore like Angelina Jolie's big lips
Stephen Fry's faith is very unusual
and very unusual in many ways
That makes it very difficult as well
We are all very connected
to the difficult times
It really makes it very hard for us to
recognize each other
without any other texture
We need to recognize something
but if we do recognize it
It's very good
so both of these
things would be very difficult
The other thing we find difficult is the responsibility of
roads Therefore we know
People are changing
their faith when they
come to recognition and we can write that
We know what is happening in terms
of anatomical
and physiological writing
We can watch any of its ways and write
about what happens through its ways
There is no way to reconcile
the conflict between
anatomical writing and people
who come from recognition
And other things that
happen when they come from recognition
We can write that
We know what is happening
and what is
happening The problem is that I don't know
It's happening
Therefore
the people on the right side and the people on the right side
I am between 10 years old
with anyone
on behalf of his ways
but some have been educated
But not the others
This will involve
a number of factors
affecting your national credibility
I have the most diverse lives
of the most diverse lives
you have
If you are late
if you are writing
The above all
have a big effec
I have
my ways It' s better for you to write on your own
than to rely on it
It is an
example you have many more ways
Felly we didn't know we
wanted
to producea
50s
we didn't know
They are 50-year-olds
who look like 50-year-
olds or 50-year-olds who look like 70-year-olds
He's 50 but
looks 30 And
that makes it
very hard for us
because we want again at
this time
the trust in
ways on their ways
and we need
to create
ways because this
can be important in
communication as well
Felly it's like saying
communication
from young people
is more
communicatio
The communication with
the roads is increasing
because of the largest number of people
We hope they are
the best For those
textures on their
own The other thing
We don't know about them
is
how to do
someone is getting to it
I was going
to speak with the lady first about that
With all the communication
methods we have
we are doing
communication we are going
to communication because
It's the only
thing I can do
but of course
someone might
A little
then
we are working
on the idea
that you will know
someone who is very good

game of work

field of

But we are different from others We also look at that So we have
Make some mistakes with people who know like Robert Burns This was showing
We have made it from the collection of the school which is held in many museums
This is the collection here this is the laser collection When this was done the students
It is interesting for phrenology paths and roads on the cranium so they were no
They got it after the night which is interesting
We are using the school's profile pictures to give the par
The school's programs and planning the school using the orthodontic school
We also use portraits This is not because we are trying to show
She's looking at them and using the most possible knowledge to make schools
I believe I have done the summer of Wales with this and the second summer is very interesting
That's very interesting to me Also some of the impossible calculations
and the impossible programs This is the work of one of our students He was making impossible schools
William Burke who is kept in the Museum of Antiquities in Edinburgh
He was using a live mask a student mask and the school and the information and the information
written over time writing it shows to its producers
ree-dimensional calculations
Felly sometimes we work when we don't have schools
Tell me and one of these calculations is St Nicholas So
The parts of St Nicholas are in the cathedral in Bari but you cannot learn about them
It is not taught to them But they did conduct many studies in the 50s
We have many good photos and drawings of the school Therefore this is what we do
For St Nicholas we are creating his school in 3D on the computer available through the photographs
In the school's calculations then they read a 3D school model and made it
What is interesting about St Nicholas is that they have separate schools
A little twice and I believe it's good for going out so that's it
It has worked well The CGI society provided the evidence which may or may not be
Yes and the BBC gave it a very big school but I don't want to show you that
Mary Queen of Scots as we have also heard also made her declaration Now of course
We do not attend Mary Queen of Scots school and the reason for this is because they did not
Discussing portraits of Mary from the time when they were living in Wales Therefore
All the portraits that deal with them from the time when they lived in Wales before they came to
They lived in Wales at some point The museum made a statement about it when they lived in Wales
Felly when we did this we used the portraits to illustrate a core model
In this they have a great deal of attention that enables us to get this
At present using what we know about his behavior in Wales which is very difficult
grim We know he has had an environment for two decades and maybe his
ad been campaigning and the social situation was unfolding with Elizabeth so
We want to show them this on their own terms and write to them with respect He was
Yes yes but his life was very hard You can see how the 3D model looks
Appearing in the photographs as we would have been in the most connected relationship
with each of the photos We know that some of these photos are being
Make it a common good because of the artist's age
Of course we do a lot of shows with people who are not fans who are
Inexplicably without your name coming from archaeological research
Some of them are produced in factories and some of them have been around for a long time
For telephone inquiries The same as on this form from the Elgin Museum
The social history of Wales that is being displayed at the Elgin Museum so we have made
elephone exchanges We can use the networks to use
Designing the trauma Therefore this museum here is a model of Stirling Castle
A medical emergency that has had some attempts at resuscitation on the pool that is being used
In the museum This one is from this period of the Battle of Towton and here is
There is a museum on the small island this museum is 10 years old
They were also used Then this one is a Welsh period of the Welsh Society of Wales
We feel it's more about the effort someone would have rather than the rewards
They have them because that would be impossible We are trying to show your living environment
So if they had wounds that healed then obviously we'll include that
We sometimes also work with ancient Egyptian mummies and what mummified bodies can reveal to us
It provides a lot more information about the soft tissues than we would ordinarily get
from just the skeleton so you often get a lot of information about ears which we don'
I know very little about it from
the skull This is Ramesses II a nice little movie showing before and after after and before I guess
And then finally Richard III which I'll tell you briefly about
I'm sure you all are well aware of this particular investigation that happened in Leicester
And with the king being found in the car park
The work we did was related to the CT scan so I've never
actually been in the same room as the remains of Richard III
Everything I received was digital so I had photographs and CT scans that we could work from
We have an excellent haptic device system our computer system has haptic feedback which
It means I can feel what I'm touching on the computer
screen which is way too difficult to describe to you but fantastic
And that means that even though I haven't been
in the same room as Richard III's remains I felt his skull how cool is that
So these are the photographs and CT scan of his skull
When we got involved in this I obviously knew where this had come from so we knew
That it was strongly suspected that this was Richard III but when we did the reconstruction
the DNA analysis had not come back so we didn't know for definite that this was him
I knew that I was going to have to justify all the decisions I made regarding the face
so we repeated this process twice so that we followed all of the anatomical details
Processes
And I can tell you exactly why if you'really interested why all of the features
are exactly the way they are
But then when the DNA results came back
that's when we used the portraits to produce the textures
So the CT scan this one has a bit of soil on it which is
why it looks a bit messy but we also used the one that had been cleaned up
So you can see the process exactly the same method we use for any of the
reconstructions and actually for him there was nothing really remarkable about his skull
I mean it's remarkable that it's Richard III but that's it really he doesn 't
have any trauma other than the trauma that killed him which we don't do
There's nothing significant about him nothing particularly different and so the standards that we used are
relatively straightforward It was very typically white
European definitely male fit at the right age group in terms
Being in your 30s
You can see the relationship between the face
and the skull at the bottom and the anatomical structure at the top
This is the finished head in the computer so this is just a shape We can
choose any color we like in the computer we chose this because it's a nice one
One to visualize the shape but it
could be sky blue pink with yellow dots on it we can do whatever we like
After that it was 3D printed using stereolithography and plastic so this is like a plastic copy
of the head and then I worked with a portrait artist named Janice Aitken at the College
Of Art who then painted this up and we put prosthetic eyes in and a wig etc
When this stage was done we used the portraits so we took the texture information even though
Neither of these portraits was done while he was alive this is the only information
we had so we used the texture information of his eyes and skin and hair from these and
Put real hair on the eyebrows and eyelashes and then Janice's mom made this nice little
An outfit for him to match her and the hat is actually the one Laurence Olivier wore
in the BBC Shakespeare production which was given to us by the BBC and you can see
For yourself I'm sure you've seen it before anyway there are a lot
of similarities between the reconstruction and both of the portraits
Interestingly one very brief last thing I also did this which is to
superimpose the skull with the portraits
This is something we sometimes do with antemortem images to identify people in forensic cases
to match up the skull to the face and actually this I would positively identify him if tha
It was a photograph of this because the photograph the portraits of the skull sorry the proportions
of the skull match up so well with the proportions of the portrait that it's really quite remarkable
Less so with this one but this one matches up amazingly well in terms of the position of facial features
shape of the jawline shape of the cranium and considering neither of these has any significant differences
Portraits were done while Richard III was alive although they may have been done from other
sketches that were that's pretty remarkable for me and it also gives a bit more for me
In terms of me believing that this is
Richard III although I believe the DNA
is pretty conclusive anyway Anyway thank you very much
I'll leave you with the last thought that in the future
it might be you and I'm happy to
answer any questions Thank you
