Hi everyone, it's Michelle Barada and welcome to Bella Branch TV.
Today I have a Valentine's super easy last minute gift that you can get all your supplies
from a dollar store.
I got this idea from when you carve your initials in a tree to the person you love.
This gift could be really for anybody.
It could be for your mom, your sister, your BFF, whoever really.
And I think you guys will like it.
So let's get started.
What you'll need for this project is a glass candle holder, a candle, silver or gold paint,
a paintbrush, and a pen.
Now take your pen and what you're going to do is you're going to carve initials in the
candle.
Just kind of like if you were carving initials in a tree, that's kind of the look I'm going
for.
So I'm doing an M plus A, which is Michelle plus Andy, my hubby.
Next, take your pen and carve a heart around the initials.
After you draw the heart, be sure to dust off all the remaining wax that's kind of bunched
up.
Then you're going to take your silver paint and you're going to paint inside the lines.
Actually, it doesn't have to be inside.
It's inside and kind of bleeding over the outside.
So kind of it's going to give that look of when you carve into a tree.
And then you're going to do it on the heart and then on the initials.
I love how this turned out.
Now you're going to take your candle and you're going to put it in the votive.
And I forgot to take the sticker off the glass, but you can do that later.
And then voila!
We're ready!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I hope you guys loved today's DIY.
I had a lot of fun making it and it was really easy, really fun, and I think it turned out
great.
