Your beagle stares directly into your eyes If your beagle keeps staring at you for a long time, then it's not at all creepy. It just means that he really, really loves you. Scientific study shows that staring at each other can increase the levels of oxytocin, also known as the love hormone, in both owner and dog. Number 2. Your beagle wags his tail when you call out his name In most cases, a wagging tail is a sign of a happy beagle. If your pooch starts wagging his tail when you call him, then this means that you make him happy. Number 3. They want to cuddle you In the human world, cuddling is to wrap your arms around and hug each other. However, beagles don't like that, as it makes them feel like they are trapped. They cuddle by coming close and snuggling up against you. Beagles enjoy close physical contact with their loved ones. Number 4. They yawn when you do Yawning is not just contagious to humans, but to dogs too. However, dogs mirror yawning only when they are emotionally connected to that person. Number 5. They want to be where you are If they know that their favorite person is in the house, they would want to be with him all the time. Beagles would follow their loved one even to the loo. Number 6. They listen to you Well, almost every time. Beagles can be stubborn. They are infamous for not following commands of their owner. However, they would follow your commands more than other family members. This is because they respect you. Number 7. They would lick your face more often Beagles are a friendly breed, and it's not uncommon for them to lick everyone's face. But they would usually lick your face more often than others. Number 8. They get excited when you return Seeing you, even after a few hours, will make them super excited, and greet you as if you were gone for days. This is because they love you too much to let you go even for a few hours. Number 9. They like to snuggle in your clothes You return home from your office just to see a mess of your clothes and your beagles snuggling in them. This is because they like your smell, and it makes them feel safe and comfortable. Number 10. Your beagle may lean against you Beagles have this habit of leaning against their loved ones and taking a nap. This is their way to cuddle you and tell you how much they love you.
