2018 Nissan Versa Note SR Sport Package Walk Around and Review

Hello ladies and gentlemen, it's Christopher here bringing you another episode of Cars Unlocked. Today we're going to be unlocking the 2018 Nissan Versano SR. Quite a few changes from the 17 model, I can't wait to show you. Let's take a closer look. So let's take a look at the front. This one being the SR package, there is quite a few features on it. We do have the nice Nissan Sport grille here and it does come with the smoked out halogen headlights. When you go up to this SR package you do get the fog lights down below. It's a very large front Nissan emblem which is in between Nissan's signature v-motion grille there. There is a camera right in the hood ornament, that's for our around monitor. It's going to help when parking and assist with the backup camera. So one of the most popular colors that we have is this cayenne red that this one is in here. My lovely girlfriend Shanice has the exact same car, the exact same color, gets lots of compliments on it. It doesn't show a lot of dirt. You can see Nissan has the breakaway mirrors and when you go up to this SR package you do get the LED turning signal indicators right on the mirror. There's a camera also right below which is going to help again with the around view monitor. The rims are going to come with 16 inch machine finish aluminum alloy rims. You get this sporty style when you go up to the SR package which gives it a sporty look. It's a nice two-tone rim with the silver and the smoky black there. On the back with this SR package you do get the rear roof spoiler, again giving a more sporty look. You can see our SR and our Versa Note badging is in the chrome on the back. If we look down below you can see the nice rear fascia that comes with the sport package. So let's pop the hood and take a look at the power plan. On the Versa Note it does come with a 1.8 four-cylinder engine. It's going to give you about 109 horsepower. Okay not a lot of power under the hood but the value here is on fuel savings. Very good on fuel. The reason why it's really good on fuel is Nissan's CVT transmission. Okay a lot of people think the manuals are better on gas but with this CVT transmission it does actually get better fuel mileage than the manual counterparts. It's going to come with the standard Nissan warranty three years $60,000, five year $100,000 for the powertrain and three year roadside assistance. Checking out the key when you go up to the SR package you do move up to the Nissan intelligent key. Okay it has the lock and the unlock. I just need to push the button on the door here and it's going to lock the doors and unlock the doors. So I do have the nice keyless entry option. Let's unlock the Versa Note and check out the interior. Again with this SR package we do get some additions that the models below didn't have. You can see this nice black and orange leather. It is a suede like seat so different from the standard cloth seat. Great for a nice Dutch guy like me with the orange. It is a six-way manual adjustable driver's seat so you can raise it up and slide it forward. When you go up to the SR package again you do get the nice leather wrapped steering wheel just adding to the sporty look again and providing a little bit more comfort. Right when I do sit down I do see the addition that they made to the 2018 package. One thing that didn't come last last year was the GPS navigation. You had to go up to the Nissan Versa Note SL so you can use the GPS to get where you need to go. Another addition that they added to this SR package that wasn't in last year's model was the around view monitor. So not only does it have the backup camera it does come with a camera on all four sides which is going to help you in parallel parking. You can see the front you can see the sides if you're parking in the garage and it comes on automatically when you put it in reverse. We do get these nice luminescent gauges very large and vivid display. You can display your kilometers to empty your average speed and your trip computer there. So very cool and all these Versa Notes. A feature that everybody likes is the dual glove boxes here. Lots of storage for all your supplies. You got one for your small items and one for your large item. I can plug my phone into the USB and play music through the auxiliary. I can also play music through the Bluetooth, the Sirius XM radio, the AM FM CD player and connect my phone to use the apps. One thing they added in this 2018 SR package that didn't come in last year's model is the heated seats. Another great feature that everybody loves about the Versa Notes is the space in the back. This is where all the volume is here. Lots of interior passenger volume, lots of interior cargo volume. The back doors actually open up to a 90 degree angle. For a small hatchback there's a ton of cargo space. Okay it does come with the carpeted mats and then there is this nice divide and hide feature that's in a lot of the Nissans. I can add and remove this if I want more space but I can hide items below there. And then there is the cargo cover there. I can also fold the seats down and then I got a ton of space if I'm shopping at Ikea I can put in there whatever I need. Alright thank you so much for watching another video.
