Interior trim updates are really fun and add A LOT to the appeal of your living space! You’ll see how to build a beautiful faux corner column in this episode, taking the mundane to the spectacular!

If you have an outside corner (or corners!) in a space where you are installing upgraded trim, you should really consider building an applied faux column corner. Huh?

It’s a faux column, so it appears to be structural (that is, supporting a load), but it’s not. It’s applied ON TOP of the corner that already exists - but it REALLY dresses it up and will become one of the important focal points of the room or entrance to a space.

In this episode, DirtFarmer Jay will show you how to go about designing your column, as well as overviewing the components you’ll need to construct. While DFJ built all the parts “from scratch”, with a bit of searching at local and online sources, it’s possible to buy pieces, cut them to length, and assemble them. Either way, you’re gonna love the results!
