I just arrived at Intermot in Cologne and let's get in there and see which bikes are new for 2025.
Honda CB750 Hornet and this is Olli from Honda Germany right? Hi, yes. Could you tell me some
details about the new Hornet 750? Of course, no issue. So the main point of course is our
complete new engine. It's a parallel twin with also a crankshaft offset from 270 degree.
We have here 92 horsepower and 75 newton meter and you see in this bike completely equipped
with everything what is needed for a real good big bike. We have traction control, we have some
modis or three modis, standard modis and one user mode and also double brake disc in the front
and connectivity for Android and iOS. Awesome, thank you very much. I can't wait to ride it and
let's have a seat on it first. It feels really light. I think it's only 190 kilograms fully
fueled and also the handlebars are quite upright so I think this is a really comfortable position
also for longer rides. The knee angle is quite narrow but for me that's perfect with my height so
yeah it's good. So let's check out what Triumph has new for the next year and one thing that they
presented is the Speed Triple 1200 RR Bond Edition and it is limited to only 60 pieces in the world
and I think only 10 pieces are sold in Germany so yeah very desirable. I think it's going to be
sold as an auction. I think starting price is around 24 000 or something and then yeah and
then the rest will be donated to charity projects in Germany. I don't know how it's going to be in
the rest of the world but it's beautiful. It looks beautiful and from my experience I can tell you it
rides amazingly so yeah. Okay and then I mean this color looks really nice too. Something
that many of you know from the old Speed Triple and then they also brought the
prototype of the electric bike and I love love love the design. I mean you never know what's
the end going to come out when it's a prototype but if you look at this I mean it looks like a
Speed Triple and it looks like a really really cool electric sport naked bike. I'm so curious
how that is going to ride and yeah but and also nice to see it in person finally because I only
saw the photos and also we have a chrome rocket in like with a lot of chrome. I didn't even know
that this was street legal because check this out this is like a mirror. This is definitely
going to distract other people. I love it. It looks super cool. In Kawasaki they mostly have
new colors for their models but there is something new. I just learned for example
the C650. Let's go over here. The C650 now has traction control. It didn't have that before
and also the Ninja 650 has traction control now and also the C400 is back. They paused it for I
think two years or something because now it is Euro 5 and yeah so that's probably a great bike
to start on and other than that mostly different colors for the models that already existed and
they also told me that they are gonna reveal a new H2SX this year so I'm excited for that.
The DRX by Zero Motorcycles. Their first real like adventure travel bike and I must say like
the design I really love it. It looks quite sleek and I was just told that at EICMA they
are going to present I think four other models with the same engine. The reach should be around
290 kilometers if you go inner city and outside the city 137 kilometers. You have 100 PS,
100 horsepower or 75 kilowatt at 3650 rpm and yeah and an insane torque of 225 newton meters
so you should be careful with the dosing. You have a 19 inch front wheel, spoke wheels
and yeah it looks like fun to me to also take off-road and if you charge it it's about 10 hours
to be 95% charged. 247 kilograms and only 828 millimeters seat height so quite low to the ground
which is perfect for me. And my highlight of the new bikes for 2023 here this is Martin Bauer
former motorcycle racer and now he's one of the developers of the of Horex and you also do
driving dynamics for the bike and suspension development. Exactly so what can you tell us
about this beautiful beautiful new Regina by Horex? Yeah I think it's a well-known bike
especially for the older drivers because the Regina is almost 17 years old not this model
because this is completely new it's a retro bike and we tried to to use complete new materials
to rebuild the old Regina and this is done with a carbon fiber frame and carbon fire swinger
and we have a complete aluminum tank for old style is not comparable with the other retro
bikes because the most of the competitors using a plastic material for this and so we have
we took really alloy to aluminum to build it and yeah I think it's. So it's completely the
frame the swingarm everything's fully carbon also the headlight right? Yes also the headlight
the frame for the headlight is carbon fiber and it's therefore it's really light we are talking
about 133 kilograms. 133 kilograms wow that's super light and it's a one cylinder 650?
It's a 600 yeah one cylinder with four wells and we have two exhausts each for one
exhaust well and this creates the maximum of power for the engine. How much power does it have?
It's 48 horsepower. And Newton meters? Torque? I don't know at the moment but 48 horsepower.
Okay and you told me about the seat what is the material of the seat and which seat height does
it have? Yeah it's a mesh material so we can do a different stiffness of the seat so we can
change it for in case of different weight of the drivers and what the driver would like to have
either comfort or more sporty and we can change the height of the seat also we have different
mounting possibilities of the seat and so it's flexible completely flexible the main focus on
this bike was easy riding and with a compared with a lot of comfort so like the bikes in former
years they are known for very convenient position on the bike and this is completely the same
just fixed with a lot of high-tech materials and this is i think a very outstanding model
and it even has like cornering abs yes wow so modern technique as well how much will it cost
yeah it's a about 30 between 30 and 40 000 euros it's not fixed so far
yeah i'm gonna start saving my money for that for sure it is so beautiful
so Royal Enfield brought the Hunter 350 here and i'm here with Mark from Royal Enfield can you tell
me something about the bike how does it ride you've already written it right the press launch
was already absolutely so i've been riding it for a couple of years now since so during all the
testing and development what is new about the bike so the engine is the same engine that we used in
our classic and our meteor j1 so it's our air cooled 349 cc so 24 newton meters of torque
21 brake horsepower it's a really lovely tractable engine so as you open the throttle there's torque
comes in nice and low at low rpm but everything else on the bike is brand new so frame
suspension wheels bodywork fuel tank seat exhaust intake everything else is new
and when we started this project we wanted to create a bike that would appeal to a younger
audience and to new riders and this is a for a global market so in india for a younger audience
and to attract new riders into the brand but also really any urban center so whether you're
talking about barcelona or london or san francisco or cologne or anywhere else where you've got a
city environment and you want a bike that is really agile and nimble and that's really where
this bike excels is its ability to change direction so we've got we've sharpened up the
steering rake we've got 17 inch rims and we've gone for a very centralized low down mass and it
means this bike is really responsive to steering input so when you want to change direction a
little push and the thing changes direction beautifully and it's so good for carving through
traffic or on little tight twisty lanes it's a really great fun motorcycle to ride really responsive
and it looks super cute it's available in six different colors i think yes yes and then how
much is it because uh that's what i love about so uh so that it's in six different colors and we
wanted to come up with the color ways we wanted to be really fun and youthful so we played a lot
with the colors we played with the brand we played with the positioning um and the styling the look
of the bike is a kind of a mix of um if you look back at some earlier royal enfield so bikes like
the fury or some of the big head bullets that came earlier so in the mid 60s a lot of the frame
shape and the fuel tank shape come from those bikes price wise um these are depending on what
country you're in in europe i think we're at uh roughly four and a half thousand euros um for the
bike so really good price there's two price levels i can't we only just announced the german pricing
and i can't remember exactly what the two price levels were but yeah i will put it uh
but they're four and a half thousand euros and they are they represent really great value for
money and that comes with a three-year warranty and you get membership to the club and you get
roadside assist and all that sort of stuff very nice yeah i can't wait to try that out because
it looks super fun and super cute so um yeah and they're just i think i think because of the the
other really great thing about them is the standover so when you stand on the bike that
yeah i will i will try that out now i will sit on so riders of all sorts of heights and statues
you get a really good seat position they're easy to ride you know so they're easy to ride
you know the riding stance is nice and easy and this must be awesome for like riding through a
city and cruising around yeah totally so i think the seat height is 790 yeah it feels very very
it just gives you that confidence it just makes it accessible
moto racing school she does track days all around europe yes in europe
nice i hope i can join sometime and you it's for beginners but also for racers yes and it's
instructed and like basically test rides with the new with the new s1000rr and i will i want
to check that out now because it it looks quite different to the previous version can i sit on it
it's quite high but uh probably the same height as before
oh
go pro
is
and i asked him if there's any news for 2023 coming up and he said yeah actually yes there's
what is it yeah it's something big and something many requested from our users
we will release the carplay version of kalimoto next year or maybe at the end of this year
and then we will be ready for carplay and you can connect kalimoto with your carplay bike
like for example honda africa and by the way i'm the first one to tell you this because
your colleague sebastian just told me it hasn't been communicated on any channel so i'm the very
first one yay so can you tell me how it works um so for example carplay is used by honda a lot
harley davidson who else indian motorcycles they also use carplay and maybe some also will release
some bikes with carplay in the future and it will work completely like you know it in your car you
can connect the smartphone via carplay you can choose kalimoto as an app and then you can track
a ride you can plan a ride you can with the limited functionality of course because it's
a little bit hard to plan via the controller on the bike yeah so you have to plan your ride
up front and then you can load it in the app but the basic turn-by-turn navigation is also available
awesome and do you know when it will be available yet and we give our very best
to release it this year but um for the next season 2023 we will be definitely ready to use
carplay nice thank you very much i can't wait to try it out myself and yeah have fun
we are at the nolan x light booth now and here's my friend björn who's leading me to the 2023 models
and here's my friend mona
and here's my friend jörg who takes awesome photos and here's my friend toby
björn what do you have new for 2023 hey juliane nice to meet you we do have two new helmets but
instead it's almost five new hours because the one new helmet is with n34 in different versions
we do have this jet helm version with a visor and extreme good ventilation this is something
all four helmets have in common and as you can see here's the jet version okay here's one version
with the chin strap you can take it off if you want to
easy as that oh cool so that now i can use it as a trial helmet yes for a trial helmet or jet helmet
do as you please
what else do we have here's a version with a so-called
for sun protection and also with a chin and that's generally it the new thing about it is
it's homologated for the new ece 2020 06 so the highest grade of protection available right now
and yes you want to have a very light helmet you can use in very yeah in various situations
what about when it rains when it rains we do have a rain cap for it it's optional
in case but yeah if you have a hot day this is the best sound that you can get because you have
the best possible ventilation thank you very much you're welcome
so this is the new vinelli trk 800 they already have the trk 502 if you might know that
but the 800 now is brand new this is still a prototype the more information about that is
coming out soon so far they told me that it's probably gonna look exactly like it i have to say
i really like the design of it the seat height is only at 834 which for my height is ideal because
the 502 the x version especially it was very high it was like 890 or 895 even so i couldn't
reach the ground well and that would make it easier for my height for sure i'm five six or
one meter and 69 centimeters and then also you have like an electronic windshield and
they told me that they cannot tell me yet if it's gonna have like different riding modes
but i would actually assume it just looking at this huge display here and and they also told
me that the seating position is quite similar to the to the trk 502 the street version though
because it's uh quite lower and also from ergonomics yeah so i'm excited how that's
gonna ride i also asked for the price that's not have that hasn't been revealed yet but they said
they assume around 11 000 yeah for travel enduro that's not much so yeah i'm very excited
or very curious how it's gonna ride and compare to other bikes like the 890 adventure
by ktm for example or let's say the tenere 700 so if you know me then you know that i love carbon
i love love love love carbon and at imberga carbon that's the place to go i mean everything
is in carbon here and that's daniel hello hi and i mean i've already looked around
just insane uh what what stuff you guys have here a lot of bikes on one place a lot of carbon
on one place exactly uh can you tell me what's new for 2023 actually we have a new uh street
fighter from ducati v2 coming up so we see the v4 just right behind us and all the parts that
for the v4 you have for the v2 exactly she's coming with the facelift so this will be all
new parts the release will be at the eicma then we have uh the new s 1000 rr from bmw what you
already saw the normal one and we actually will also have the m version coming up next year so
the new m 1000 rr the double r and for next year's also the normal r coming which you just
see there like the the simple r and there's a model coming what is then called m 1000 r also
i think a release like you know in yes yes yes uh we have the new ducati r what is coming
the really fast bike yeah the powerful one and yeah exactly yes yes and uh yeah a lot of
more models i think but um the releases i'm not quite sure till now so and here you see some
parts how it would be delivered to my door exactly yeah this is uh you you have to you
have two options to choose uh first you can have delivered the parts to your doors and you
implement them on your bike by yourself or you just bring them to our um we have we have a workshop
in um in oberhaching was near munich and so you can come with your bike and so we put all the
stuff in nice and do you ship worldwide we ship worldwide yeah we have exclusive partners in the
united states we have it all over the world so yeah if you want to have it in taiwan and
you can have it nice all right thank you very much yeah you're welcome so my friend arian and
his friend ben uh they work together on a project and you build parts for the r18 right yeah we did
a full custom um basically based on five parts we call it five parts to custom which is a plug and
kit we developed for um the r18 and uh yeah we started we started the pre-order uh today
what are the parts that uh are in that kit that you can basically it's containing um
five parts which is the headlight on the front fender you can see here um in front of the engine
the flying logo intake and a whole seat unit replacing the parts and the tank as well yeah
we did a special design uh on the tank um together with a designer from california who's also working
for senior vehicle design which is a little special here um yeah it's an oem tank um the whole
kit is um plug and play there's no modifications on the motorcycle needed um just um mount the
parts and then you're ready so i can order it you're delivering me the parts and it's easy to
just plug and play yeah you can either do it yourself we are going to deliver
good instruction so um it's mountable in a couple of hours and um of course yeah we are we are
supporting uh dealers with the kit so they can do it for the clients yeah nice okay so if you guys
let me know the link you just send it to me then i'll put it in the description of this video so
you guys if you have an r18 you can order it and make it this beautiful i'm gonna head home now it
was a short trip here to intermod but um saw some new bikes for 2023 uh leave a comment which bike
did you like the best which would you like to ride which would you like to try do you have any
more questions um i hope i'll see you soon for the next video take care and always ride safe
