My week as a UX Design student: lots of café

Hello my beautiful people! ever, ever, ever today and so I am actually going over to, what was I gonna say, I'm going over to Publix because I needed to get some things for that. My mom is a gem and she went to La Panaderia which is like the bread store and she got some conchas. Yes girl, if you know conchas, you know, okay, you know conchas are the best thing in the whole freaking world. I love conchas so much and, wait, what else did she get? She got conchas, she got jarritos, she got, oh, arroz con leche, oh my god, she got some tamales, she got some, what else did she get, yeah, she really went all out. She, yes, so if you don't know, Tony, like I said, he's my boyfriend but his family is Vietnamese Chinese and so I'm pretty sure his mom is gonna bring over some like traditional Vietnamese Chinese food so I was thinking it would be really cute if we had like, because my family is Mexican, so it would be so cute if we had our Mexican dishes, Mexican snacks, it's more like a snacks type of situation, we're not really gonna have dinner or lunch, it's just kind of like a little tea, coffee type of situation and so I thought it would be so cute if we have our Mexican traditional stuff and he has his traditional Vietnamese Chinese food and that would be so cute. So I'm gonna head to Publix and I'm gonna take you with me, so let's go, girl, let's do this. It's about to fall, guys, I need a car mount for, I'm actually vlogging on my phone at the moment, you cannot even see me, should I just end the vlog, or end this clip now Yes, I need a car mount, so if you have a suggestion for a really good one, I don't usually vlog on my phone, I prefer vlogging on a camera, but my camera broke, I'm so sad, it broke in France, I was like getting all artsy or whatever and I was like putting my camera on like a step and then the cat prances on over and pushes it over, honestly it was my fault because I shouldn't have put it there and it literally, it died, my camera died, so that was... Good morning, what's up, how's it going? So I, it's like, what time is it now, it's like 11.25 and I am currently at the Home Center offices, so I got to meet the UX team at Home Depot and they are so cool, it was really cool, they showed me around the offices and I got to meet a bunch of UX designers and yeah, so that was awesome, I'm very happy that I got the opportunity to do that, that was really cool and now, Assista is hungry, I'm probably gonna go get lunch and then I'm gonna go to a coffee shop, there's this coffee shop that I love so much, it's in Johns Creek in Georgia, so if you're from Johns Creek or you're near Johns Creek, I highly recommend this coffee shop, it's called The Alchemist and it's just so good, they have the best matcha latte you will ever have in your whole freaking life, man! And they also have like this drip coffee, they have like, they're just so on point, they have this foam on top that's so good, so it's 11, so I'm really happy that I got out not during rush hour, because when I was in class, I would always get out at 5pm and that was like peak rush hour and it was just, I'm gonna have myself a day, I'm gonna get some poke, I'm gonna get myself a matcha latte, I'm gonna get some work done, oh my god, yeah, so yeah, it was really good, it's really freaking cold today, I don't know what's going on, my skin is so dry, I don't know if you can tell on the camera, but I am flaking, I felt so embarrassed because I felt like people could see it, but it's not too obvious, but Assista is so flaky, I have really dry skin, it just gets even worse during the winter, so if you have any products that you really like for dry skin, for day moisturizers, because at night I think I'm covered, but it's during the day that I just feel like my moisturizer isn't doing much for me, so if you have any recommendations, let me know, I actually even use the Origins Drink Up Intensive Night Mask during the day, because my skin is thirsty, she thirsty, and I'm like trying to get the moisture, but it's not, it's not doing anything, let's do it! Good morning, it is, what day is it today, Wednesday, Tuesday, Tuesday, it's Tuesday today, and you can tell I just woke up, I pulled one of those things last night that I hate, that I hate when I do it, because I fell asleep with all my clothes on, on top of my bed, with the lights on, and I just, you know that feeling when you wake up and all your lights are on, you feel just gross, you didn't get ready for bed properly, and you just feel nasty, that's what I did last night, so I woke up, jumped out of bed, washed my face, changed my clothes, and I feel so much better, but my sister, she made breakfast, so let's see what she made, we're actually gonna go, so the plan for today is that we are gonna go to a coffee shop, I think we're gonna just go to the Starbucks that's really close to our house, she has work to do, I have work to do, so we're just gonna have a little sister coffee date, and then we, she has to work, and then I'm probably gonna come back, eat, maybe go to the gym later, or wait for my mom, because my mom loves going to the gym, so we'll see, so I have a lot of things to do today, so I'm gonna take my book bag down, I need to put something on my face, because I have, I literally just washed my face, maybe put some like eyebrow stuff, or something, you know, hello, Claudia Claudia made breakfast, so sweet, thank you, Shasta, good morning, she responding, thank you, we are heading to Starbee's now, yes, my sister, nevermind that's a fail, okay guys, so I am finally at Starbucks, and I got this green tea, peach green tea drink that my sister actually, I think it was her friend, her friend invented it, oh my god, you have to try it, okay, let me show you what it is, you can't really see because of the light, but it is a grande iced peach green tea, with 3 pumps of liquid cane sugar, light ice, sweet cream foam on top, and it's so good, you have to try it, it's delicious, so good, so now I'm gonna do work, got a nice, got a nice view, yes, you like a nice view, my sister's behind me doing work, so yeah, let's get it, I just got home, I'm obviously in my car, but I was at Starbucks for, okay, wait, I got there at like 11.30, and it's now, hang on, wait for it, 5.36, oh my god, so I am home, I'm gonna eat, and then I really, really, really, really wanna go to the gym, and tomorrow is gonna be interesting because I am meeting up with a lady, she's a graphic designer, I reached out to her on LinkedIn, which, you guys, if you're not reaching out to people on LinkedIn, I highly recommend it, it is, you know, you, you don't always get a response, but it's worth a try, you have nothing to lose, and you should just do it, but yeah, so that's the plan, and I was also so happy because Zoe, or Zoe Sug, Zoella, she is doing Vlogmas this year, and if you know me, if you know me, I have been a dedicated Zoella fan, she's literally my favorite human being in the whole freaking world, and she's doing Vlogmas, and I am so excited, so I was watching her vlogs earlier, so anyways, I'm gonna go, there's a guy walking his dog, I don't want him to see me vlogging in the car, so let's go, so we're making tacos, yay, she doesn't want to be filmed, take that away, okay, she doesn't want to be filmed, but we're making tacos, they're kind of like American tacos, right, they're not authentic tacos, so we just put it in this tortilla, which you can get at Publix, or where'd you get it mom? Publix, it's la banderita, white corn tortillas, and you just roll it up, you put chicken, which is also from Publix, so here we kind of just shredded it, and then you just roll it up, and then you just put it in a lot of oil, it's very healthy, and then my mom and I are gonna go to the gym, what are you gonna do at the gym mom? I'm going to do the elliptical, and the bike, and weights, okay, she's doing elliptical, bike, and weights, and I'm gonna do, I might run on the treadmill, I look so pale, I'm gonna run on the treadmill, and then I'm probably gonna do weights also, because I haven't done, oh my god, it's so dark, I haven't done arms in forever, so I'm probably gonna do arms, and the treadmill, and then I don't know, I'll see what I feel, but yeah, we're gonna eat tacos now, I'm gonna put it on top, and you're gonna, it looks really ugly, but it's okay, it's delicious, and then you're gonna add the lettuce, that lettuce has a little bit of cilantro, oh okay, so this one is guacamole salsa, it's mild, this one is just pure salsa verde, so I'm gonna add both, I'm gonna add a little bit of this one, oh on top, and then salsa verde on top, a little bit, there we go, so good! I don't know what's going on, I feel like it's just dry, it's dry spots essentially, and I'm just, I don't know what to do, I don't know what to do, yes, I haven't been super productive, even though I've been working for a long time today, I just feel like I haven't been that productive, because I just feel burnt out, just staring at my computer all day long, but it's okay, because it's cool work, it's fun to work on your own portfolio, and your resume, and all that kind of stuff, I mean it's kind of fun, it's not like it's that fun, but it's kind of fun, because you get to like, you know, you get to see what you've done, you get to make it pretty, you get to think about your brand, and all that kind of stuff, hello, how's it going? good, I don't know what it is, I was watching Zoella, my favorite person on earth, love her, okay, so it is obviously the next day, and I am so red here, I don't know what happened, it's like a dry spot, like yeah, I don't know what's going on, it's like dry, but itchy, so yeah, please excuse that, but it is the morning now, and I am ready, I am wearing this really, really, really, really cute dress, here, please excuse my laundry, let me move this, so I'm wearing this super cute dress, it is from and other stories, it's very warm, so it's perfect for when it's like chilly outside, and it's just very flattering, I love it, it's super cute, what am I doing today? so I have a call with someone at noon, and then I want to go do some work as usual, because again, still working on my portfolio, I wish I was doing more exciting things this week for the vlog, but I just like, this week is so crazy, so hopefully I'm still getting interesting content, hopefully, maybe, I don't know, but I feel like I'm just doing the same thing every day, but that's the reality of my December this year, but I am having a conference call, and then I am going to a coffee shop, probably, well, I need to eat lunch, Shasta is in the other room, let's say hi to her, I'm so annoying, I feel like she hates when I do that, she's so cute, oh my gosh, why is it so dark? okay, so I'm actually, I'm in the back of my car, because I was trying to reach my, I just parked, obviously, and I am at a poke bar, a poke bar to get poke, because Shasta's hungry, but yeah, so it was interesting, I had my conference call, well, it wasn't really a conference call, it was just a call with one person, so I guess it was just like a regular call, but I didn't think she was gonna make the call, because she didn't say anything, I asked her like an hour before, and I was like, are you, you know, are you gonna be still available, and so she didn't, because she didn't respond, I was just like, okay, well, maybe she's gonna reschedule, and so I was in line at Chick-fil-a, and then she messages me, and say, and says like, yeah, I'm available, and I was like, oh my god, I had to park in front of Chick-fil-a, and take the call from my car on Google Hangouts, which they have an app on your phone, I didn't even know that, so I did that, and the call was great, she was really, really sweet, super nice, and yeah, she's a UX designer in New York City, because a sister is trying to move to New York City, because, I mean, isn't that what everyone's doing right now, but yes, I'm, I was getting my stuff together to go to the coffee shop, well, to go to Poke, and then the coffee shop is next door to the Poke place, so I was gonna get my stuff, and then I was like, I need to update them, let them know how it went, but yeah, so I'm gonna go now, get out of my car, I wonder if someone saw me get out of the front seat, and into the back seat, and then pull out a camera, oh my god, I look so tired, okay, so good morning, guys, I need to run upstairs, but I just wanted to say hey, it is currently Friday morning, it's like 9 45, and I am at my school where I did my boot camp for UX, so we have like a thing that we have to do this morning, so I'm running up, well, not currently running up, but I'm gonna run up, yes, yeah, so today is gonna be interesting, I'm gonna be running all over the place, because tonight's the graduation, and then I have the cookie swap thing, and then I have to work on my portfolio in between, and then it's just a lot of stuff, okay, but anyway, so we're gonna go upstairs, and I didn't eat breakfast, so hopefully I can get something inside, so.
