Bricklaying - Curved Garden wall part 1

I hope you are well. A nice challenging job in Bolton today for Bill. We are rebuilding this curved wall so we've got the skip at the side. We're going to take everything down and then we're going to rebuild it. And then we're going to point it up in a black mortar. Alright, so I hope you enjoy. OK, so by the looks of it, this runs up and I only do level so I'm going to have to try and work it out. This wall here, that runs pretty level. I've just checked it. It's just this one follows the grass upwards so we'll have to get it out. Right then guys, so that's one wall down. All I've got to do is knock this side down now. Look at this here, getting looked after already. 11 o'clock. Right, let's do this. Also going to drill some holes through and get some type of weep hole in so any moisture gets, well there will be moisture in the grass, it can escape. Folks, the wall is pretty much down there and I'm going for some dinner. I'm going to pick some bricks up. We're on day two now guys. Just going to get a mix on. Got all the bricks and sand and cement here and we're going to crack on with it. Also we've got Katie on the job. We can go anywhere, even if there's nothing there. A couple of weeps in every metre or so. We are cracking on fine guys, getting there now. But we're jointed every two courses because it's drying that fast so it's a bit of a stop and start. But we're getting the curvature around this wall now and I'll be up there in no time, says he. So we're going to get some taps of normal ties in like this, but then Casey's just sorting some of these wall ties, some oil ties and that. We can just put them in, just to support. Yeah, that'll do. That's it, so I can adjust it. What do you think of the wall? So we've got some Staffordshire blues. We're going to finish the top with some blues. Alright, just simple as that. Brick on edge. And it's three blues to one brick. One, two, three. So we need plenty of them. And as you can see I've stepped it up as the garden rises. We've got some plinth bricks as well. Right guys, that is the end of day 2. It's been a little bit difficult. It's very intricate work, curved walls, all freehand work and it's a nightmare with the heat. Well, the mortar's drying every course. course every two course I've just got to stop and join.
