The Animation Minute: News! Jobs! Demo Reels and more! (June 13 - June 19, 2022)

This is the Animation Minute. As always, let's start with jobs here. Rooster Teeth is looking for a lead 3D animator as a contract position. Weta has opened a shop in Melbourne, Australia. They're looking for animators among other positions. Gearbox Entertainment is looking for mid to senior level animators. Insomniac Games is looking for a senior animator and animator. And here we got a tweet. They're looking for a gameplay animation lead and cinematic animation lead. Ninja Theory is looking for a gameplay animator. Lemon Sky Studios is looking for a bunch of positions including 3D animator. Switching over to news now. You can watch the Supergiant Robot Brothers exclusive trailer streaming on Netflix soon. Speaking of trailer, new Puss in Boots. I'm going to skip this one because I don't want more spoilers. There's a new Overwatch animated short The Wastelander. Also very cool. Here's another trailer. This is for Scavenger's Reign. It's going to be on HBO Max. Looks very cool. Cool designs. I'm definitely going to watch that. Here's a tweet saying HBO Max Latin America has ordered a new animated feature titled Batman Azteca. Looks very cool. Look at that design. I can't wait to watch that. Here's a fun animation piece. Super, super cool. So Nick has struggled with bad back and sciatica for years. He's a great threat regarding stretching and what you can do. So if you're an animator, you're probably sitting a lot just like myself. I do stand and try to exercise and stretch. Definitely follow this. This is pretty good. Now I love Zelda Minish Cap. It's probably my favorite pixel art Zelda. Maybe besides Link to the Past but it's absolutely super cute. I love the game. And here are scans of concept art that has never been seen online as it says here. It's very neat. Make sure to check that out. That's right. Let's switch over to pixel art. This seems to be a Yakuza beat him up. That looks pretty cool. There's some cool animations here. And last but not least, this is very cool as well. Always love pixel art and Star Wars.
