
Tips for Combatting Limiting Beliefs When Building Your Brand (Mental Health Month Conversation)
Working on your personal brand is very much that - it's personal.
And when it's personal, when it's that close to us, we can sometimes lose sight of the truths around our brands. All of those incredible gifts you possess, they can sometimes get buried under limiting beliefs.
I fall victim to limiting beliefs, each and every day. From “imposter syndrome” to “comparisonitis” and everything in between, these limiting and false beliefs take their toll on my mental health.
And so, during Mental Health Month, we’re looking at some of the limiting beliefs that have held me back from my full potential, and some strategies I’ve started using to help bring health, happiness and truth back to my day.
I’m not a mental health professional, but someone who’s been there as a hospitality professional and entrepreneur, and I’m here to share what has worked for me, including:
